What's happened to the 5:30BH £5?

Looks like Sky have been making changes. The 18:30 BH is now £800 guaranteed instead of £1000. Maybe they have removed the 17:30 tourney?

Thats what I was thinking but it almost always made its guarantee. Can we have it back but just a smaller guarantee?

Yep, this. And when it did miss guarantee, it was usually only by a small amount of runners.

Would be illogical if it has been removed completely, hopefully just accidental

Perhaps its underperforming a lot more than we realise.

I don't have any records as to this 17.30 BH, but James would not remove it without good reason. Removed accidentally? Possible I suppose, but highly unlikely imo. MTT's can't just "fall off" the schedule.

When chance permits, I'll ask James, but I'm going to guess it was removed for financial reasons.

Guarantees have always come under pressure at this time of year, & always will. Unless of course we move to the Southern Hemisphere, where the reverse happens.

I'd guess it was deliberately removed, but the replacement MTT with the lower guarantee wasn't set up, think that's how it works anyway.
