It is not "far left" to be pro-Palestine. Any more than it is "hard right" to support Israel. There may be a small minority in both camps who espouse such views-but the vast majority on both sides are decent people wishing to peacefully support in favour of a cause they believe in. Something that will always happen when thousands of people are killed just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Something true of both sides.
That's why pro-Israel marches are (and should be) allowed, subject to not being openly antagonistic. Same holds true for pro-Palestine marches. It's called being even-handed.
This woman believes that marches in support of Black Lives matter were illegal during Covid. Yet makes no comment about the protests by women after that horrid murder by the Policeman. Which was technically just as "illegal"-sometimes you have to step outside the strict law to achieve aims.
She is just 1 of those people wedded to the belief that any protest which coincides with her own beliefs is lawful and fine. While any that do not are to be denigrated using inflammatory religious insults, and given labels of Hard Left.
I am quintessentially British. Part of that is that I am able to recognise people supporting causes that I personally do not share. Without feeling the need to insult them.
