Living in Tower Hamlets with our diverse community, education is key for the residents to stop throwing cooking fat down the sink, my organisation spent £117k in 22/23 on drainage contractors and we are a housing association in Newham where this berg is. To try to give some context, our basket rate for a new kitchen is £7k, new bathroon £5k and new boiler and all controls inc thermostaic valves for energy saving £2.7k,

I could have made a huge difference to many peoples lives but unfortunatley the budget went on clearing blocked drains.
