    No. All you need is the desire to survive and a weapon. Then you simply take what you need off some other poor soul.

    Feral aggression and the will to do what the other guy won't. Yes it's an horrific scenario but Darwinian Theory will come to the fore. The younger generation with their woke attitudes and entitled approach will not last long without a radical attitude adjustment.

    A real emergency, no power, no phones, no heat, light or law and order. Back to the dark ages almost.

    Since COVID my other half has insisted that we have about a months' supply of food stored, mostly pasta, tinned food etc that stores well. There's also about a months' worth of dog and cat food. I couldn't be bothered to argue.

    She also didn't laugh when I suggested that if our food ran out we could eat the pets, starting with the horse but keeping the German Shepherds until last as they provide protection.

    As an owner of horses for over 20 years (mostly rescued/retired ones) I've sadly seen it done a few times.
