So I went to the local tesco express to pick up butter as had ran out and saw in their discount section some vegan yogurt so thought okay will try that.

I do not know if lawsuits for pyschological damage suffered from a product are a thing but if they are I might have a case. I thought I would I would give it a try it is one of the foulest things I have ever tasted. I genuinely do not know what raw sewage would taste like but if I had to guess I would guess it would taste better then that.

So there you go tried a vegan product
here is my verdict

Short answer re "psychological damage". No, unless you have a clear medical report providing a clear causal link from 1 to the other.

You reminded me of some legal advice I gave many years ago to a serial whinger.

He had bought a 9p tin of Supermarket Own Brand Beans (shows how long ago this was). And had, according to him at least, found a dead frog in it.

So I asked had he eaten any of it-no.
Had it been mixed with other food, like a full English? No.
Had he been physically sick? No
    Seen a Doctor? No

I've had enough of this nonsense, said he-I want to know how much I can claim for.

I pretended to think carefully. And said....

    9 pence :)

While I am on a whingy roll, funniest advice I ever heard. And I only heard the Solicitor on the end of a phone....

"You want to sue for 10 pence? (Sigh). Well I suppose that would be in the Small Claims Division of the County Court...

"Oh, sorry. My mistake. You got the 10 pence a month later than you wanted. And you just wish to sue for Interest on the 10 pence. That would be the f**king Microscopic Claims Court!"

    :)

it may not always be easy to tell with me but I was been hyperbolic, and a bit silly on the idea of suing them.

it was vegan yogurt not vegan butter. unless you mean vegan butter is some sort of vegan review site in which case I would be happy to leave a review there.

Serves you right for eating vegan products.

I have an acquaintance who is vegan and isn't slow to let anybody and everybody know.

Funniest thing ever, we were at a buffet once, she saw what she assumed was red velvet cake popped a piece into her mouth and started chewing. Only then was she informed it was red pudding.

I know I shouldn't but I was rolling. Funny as anything.

Some vegan stuff can be okay, like Quorn mince and fake meatballs. I had some vegan brownie recently and it was delicious. Vegan yogurt sounds rancid though. I imagine it tastes even worse than soya milk.

    Ok. Rant incoming.

How can you have Soya milk, Almond milk, Coconut milk etc.?

Milk is naturally secreted from the breast through the nipples of living animals to nourish their young.

Its juice at best it's not fkn milk.

it had to happen eventually i guess I am agreeing theedge here.

I have joked about hating vegans and wanting animals to suffer but anyone who knew me properly would know that was me been silly.

I of course would like to get my nutrition in a way that caused as little suffering as possible. Animals are conscious and do feel happiness and pain and it saddens me to cause animal suffering.

However it we need animal products for optimum health and functioning. Also lots of animals including rats and mice which are very intelligent and sentient animals are killed in the process of vegtation farming.

I would say its not really possible to get nutrition without other sentient life forms suffering but this is larely the case because of our captilistic society I will go on a rant about that at some point.
