Who won what, Tuesday 11th June. We see a VERY odd outcome in the Gold Rush Main...

Morning.

This day last year

"@StayOrGo took the Main for the umpteenth time. Has won everything there is to win here over the years, though oddly has only taken the Major once. Won a trip to Punta Cana with us in 2015 & enjoyed a tremendous trip. Best result was a UKOPS High Roller in 2017 from which he collected over £8,000, & has 30 or 40 four figure cashes here. @Armyburger put up an outstanding performance to finish 2nd after satting in for £7.20. In 3rd was @Jessieak with @Cammykaze (who has had a solid month) in 4th.

In the Mini, @chkngeorge came out best, with PLO8 bully @eon1961 in 3rd. Runner-up @woebegone had an excellent session, as in addition to 2nd in Mini, was 1st in Quickdraw & 1st again in a post-midnight £300 BH, so 2 x 1st & a 2nd is pretty decent.

Congratulations to @Bikerboy00 in achieving his biggest ever cash in 1,700+ games here by winning 9 @ 9. In doing so he denied the win to runner-up @steveysee, though he made up for it later by taking down a £300 BH.

There was a ferociously tough FT in Turbo, with @Natnug prevailing ahead of @seikus &, amongst others, @Super_Oli & @bigfatfish. Newbie @NCGT who broke his duck by winning Monday's Marksman Main was 4th so he looks to be one to put in your tracker.

@GFKIJKLL was in imperious form with a win double (Reload & MidEx) plus 3 other assorted FT's (2nd, 3rd & 5th) plus a deep run (15th) in the Elim Fr.

Quick shoutout to @wynne1938 for an excellent run into 3rd place in the 208 runner Elim Fr, not bad for an octogenarian. I'm struggling to think of any other 85 year olds we have here with the exception of @HAYSIE".

For the time of year, MTT numbers seemed pretty good last night, especially the Main, Mini, Summit & Quickdraw, with the only miss being 9 @ 9. Worth noting that the Euros start on Friday, and so online poker traffic is going to be significantly impacted imo. No idea what plans the Business have, but I would not be at all surprised to see guarantees reduced for the duration of the Euros, especially (& perhaps only?) on the nights England or Scotland are playing. And for those with an interest in business, there's the delicious irony that Sky Bet (& Paddy Power & Betfair) will be praying that England &/or Scotland go all the way, as every game is great for them, no matter what the result. Meanwhile, the thinly-populated Sky Poker office will be hoping England & Scotland depart early, as every game is bad for them. Funny old game, eh?

We saw THE most extraordinary outcome to the Gold Rush Main. On Monday, @Swifteyyeu beat @Drewett heads up, & last night's result was the exact mirror-image, @Drewett 1st with @Swifteyyeu 2nd. If we include rebuys, there were not far shy of 200 entries each night, so the odds of those 2 running 1st & 2nd on consecutive days must be ridiculously high, & I'm fairly sure it's never happened before in a Main event on Sky Poker. Very well done to them both. A fine effort too by 4th placed @tai-gar

Back in the Sky Poker TV days my very good friend Richard Orford used to take great delight in double entendres & adolescent aliases so he would have been thrilled to see @4kingboss win the Mini. A quick peruse shows me that there are over 50 Sky Poker aliases that commence with "4king" so I guess I'm in a minority in being a little sniffy about them. Still, I can't help but think it's one of those things that amuses for a few weeks after which the novelty wears off, rather like a whoopee cushion. Maybe I'm out of touch. I was in the company of 3 other adults the other day, playing golf, & as we were on the 7th tee, one of them passed wind somewhat theatrically, & the other two burst out laughing. Maybe I've just become old & miserable, but how is passing wind funny once we've passed the age of adolescence? Crikey, I went off on one there, didn't I? Apologies, & an unreserved well done to @4kingboss. Continuing his impressive run of recent results, @mumsie was 2nd, & his Sharky graph just keeps getting ever steeper.

In Summit, only @lyonsbob06 stood between another father & son 1-2, with @StayOrGo the winner & @Limp2Lose 3rd, sandwiching @lyonsbob06 in 2nd place. Later in the session, @Limp2lose was 2nd in Turbo. As an interesting (?) aside, Sharky give @StayOrGo a 90 rating, with @Limp2Lose on 89. (Actually, @lyonsbob06 is 89 too). Can't read too much into Sharky ratings, but suffice to say we can conclude that all three can play a bit.

Thanks to my wafflings which were both irrelevant & irreverent I'm sorry to say I've run out of time but I do want to name check a few other winners.

@Brick123 has been here 5 or 6 years though very low volume so far, just 84 MTT's, but victory in last night's Rebuy BH was their 2nd win this year, as they took down a Mini Predator in February.

    And there were wins for thread regulars such as @BEANIE (Mega), @shad8604 (9 @ 9), @snoxx11 (Reload), @ozzieowen (Turbo), @Gambelo (Quickdraw) & @chkngeorge (MidEx).

    I'm done.
