Who won what, Sunday 23rd June. Major sees a super hot podium, & there's a win double for ozzieowen

Morning.
This day last year
"Numbers were decidedly frisky last night considering it's late June. The Main topped £5,000, Mega almost £1,500, & Reload, which missed on Sunday, a surprising £1,950. The sole exception was MidEx, which missed - again - albeit only by a sliver.
@Kahuna96 has had a quiet June so far but bounced back to form by winning the Main, his best result this month by a factor of 4. It was his 5th Main event win in all, 2 of which were Avengers. I must make mention of @235467 who had a bit of a frustrating session - 6th in Main, 2nd in the £1k BH, 2nd in 7 @ 7, 8th in Mega, 8th in Reload & 8th again in Turbo. I'm sure there are a few hard luck stories there, but it's just variance in one of her pesky moods.
@jammie04 in in his 10th year here & has never previously troubled the judges or these threads (admittedly on low volume) but that all changed last night with victory in the Mini.
@Eagles24 is another low volume player, again in his 10th year here. Played just 8 MTT's in the last 7 weeks, all of them 9 @ 9, best score being 6th on May 17th. Got the win last night though, which will have felt just great.
Reload made almost £2,000, & it was @carrotttop who emerged on top for his best score since winning the £1k Rebuy BH in March. Very consistent & nicely profitable, & has won the Mini 3 times, the first time being a long 10 years ago. I initially got confused when I looked him up, as there's a CarrotTop & a carrotttop. (Note the rather odd third "t").
The night's hottest FT was Turbo where @destinycod got the better of @GFKIJKLL @StayOrGo & @seikus. Imagine being on a FT & finding those four all lined up to your immediate left. Or right. Or just there.
@FishDog77 has played just 5 MTT's this month, all of them MidEx's. Was runner-up 2 weeks ago & went one better last night.
It was 4 weeks to the day that @NODEAL last played an MTT/DYM here & he returned in style last night to take down the 7 @ 7. Mainly a cash game player I believe, & a very profitable one.
For the 2nd time this year, the Rebuy BH went to @kevywevy17.

In the Major, it was a real heavy-hitters podium, with a 1-2-3 of @PowerPok3r @Tedson & @Curt360x27. @PowerPok3r, the winner, has an ABI of almost £60 and plays the Major frequently, along with all the other big boys stuff. Has a remarkable record in the Major - this was his 2nd win, he's also been 2nd 5 times, 3rd 3 times, 4th 4 times & 5th twice. 6th place seems to have avoided him so far though. Runner-up @Tedson probably has a similar record, he's won the Major 4 times, & whilst it is a bit unreliable & effectively meaningless, his Sharky rating is 97, & I can't recall seeing any player with an equal or higher rating than that. Third-placed @Curt360x27 of course will be in Vegas with us in a few weeks time, & not for the first time, think he's got a season ticket.
The Major's baby bro, the Mini, went to @ozzieowen with serial cashees @Limp2Lose @Swifteyyeu & @Super_Oli all on the Final Table. Later, @ozzieowen completed a fine double with a Reload Win.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see that despite the Scotland game & the weather, the £5k BH only missed by 3 entries, which seems like a right result to me, especially as last week's renewal missed by an eye-watering £1,340. On Friday, @janis1981 was the Avenger Main FT bubbler, but made up; for it last night by taking the £5k BH & pocketing just over £1,000. Was a seriously hot FT, with 2nd to 6th filled by @Jessieak @Morris707 @daGrinda @Gambelo & @Froozle. Not too much limp/folding there then. Later, @Gambelo won Turbo.
@HUSTLE330 has a sprinkling of decent results on his CV, on Saturday he was r4th in Sheriff & last night he won it. Was a very fine effort considering his FT opponents included @destinycod (2nd) @UnEuropean (3rd) @Natnug (4th) & @Gambelo 5th.
@JackJG had not played an MTT for 2 months with the exception of one last month, but turned up & eclipsed the 7 @ 7, & in doing so, makes their thread debut.
Think that's about it for today.
Tonight it's a slightly lower key Euros affair, with Croatia v Italy & Albania v Spain, but of course we are in for a scorchio day so that won't help. It gets worse (for the pokers) tomorrow though, with England in action. Who'd run a poker site, eh?
