"Reasonable numbers again last night, though Reload missed. That one oscillates wildly, impossible to accurately predict what it might make any given night.
Without a doubt, the night belonged to @ozzieowenwho was 1st in the Major, 2nd in the Mini (so £2,500 FTJ bonus), 6th in Turbo, 2nd in Quickdraw, 7 won two £1.80 all-in sats to the £5k BH. Congrats ozzie, that's quite the session.
2nd in the Major was @Drewett with FT appearances by the likes of @kimpet@Tastysnack & @StayOrGo. @kidgrimsby won a £3 All-In Sat & turned it into 8th place & £339. Despite being Top 6 much of the evening Billy Let Down aka @HAYSIE could only manage 10th. Think he's turned into a bottler, his record in Mains this week is 6th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th & 10th, & he was 16th in last Sunday's Major. I suppose I should grudgingly say "well done Tony" but I cba.
In the Mini the excellent @hhammerhea took the top spot & in doing so denied a Main/Mini win double for @ozzieowen & therefore saved Sky Poker £2,500.
@Natnug had a lovely 1-2-3, 1st in the £5k BH (with @Swog 2nd), 2nd in 7 @ 7 & 3rd in Sheriff.
It's rare that a night goes by without a win for @AlexaAJ@Jscorgie or @bigfatfish& they all booked a win last night in 9 @ 9, Quickdraw, & MidEx respectively.
Finally, a quick mention of @FeelGroggywho goes into Day 4 of the WSOP Main with 264,000 with blinds going 3k-6k-6k, & just 10 off the money. Go Groggs. Stu Rutter has a more precarious 84,000 stack, but that should be enough to get him into the money."
Last Sunday, England played & it went to Extra Time, which had a terrible effect on Sky Poker traffic. Can't be helped, it happens, it's budgeted for, da de da. Last night, which was their next game, they did it again, in fact it was even worse, as it went to penalties this time. And so once again, traffic was decimated. The 18.30 £800 BH missed by a whopping £275, & 7 @ 7 did even worse, just 52 entries & a consequent £336 overlay. Things bucked up after that, once the football finished, & although the £5,000 Main missed by £320, generally numbers were OK, & got progressively better as the evening wore on. Can't help but think the England team are trolling Sky Poker.
1st place in the Main went to @daGrinda after he won his seat in one of six £1.80 All-In satellites he played. He collected a handy £932 for his efforts, which was decent compensation for Wednesday, when he bust in 6th place in the Predator Main. In 6th last night was @ramsfan, which I have a hunch is a second account of @Jac35 as surely we can't have TWO Derby County fans on Sky Poker, can we?
The Mini went to @CuddlyPug who you may recall won 9 @ 9 a couple of weeks ago. Our old mate @boggo was 3rd. I was secretly hoping he'd qualify for Vegas again, but it was not to be.
@W1bis not a player we see very often, but in taking Mega he was registering his 2nd featured MTT win of 2024, having already ticked off Turbo, & just a few weeks ago ran 2nd in 9 @ 9.
Last night's 9 @ 9 went to a much more familiar alias, @whitters95 & he made it a double later in a late night £300 BH. Sharky rate him 92, & no wonder, his CV includes 1st place in two Majors, two Avenger Mains, and a handful of Summits & BWBH's. Prior to earlier this week, he'd been AWOL for a month or so, so it was good to see he's not deserted us.
The £800 went to @jakino & if we go back a few years he has a solid CV including 2nd place in a UKOPS HR for ~£2,000 & several Main Event FT's including 1st in a Marksman.
It was a very intimate 7 @ 7 - just 52 entries (thanks Harry Kane) - but it had an interesting winner in @LEGGY44 who joined us just 3 days ago & was 2nd to @Curt360x27 in Turbo on Thursday, which was his debut night on Sky Poker. Stick that name in your tracker, might be a live one.
@steviep89took Reload, having won Mega two months ago. Seems to be something of a specialist in two Tourneys - this was his 6th Reload win, & he's won Mega no less than eight times.
24 hours after winning Friday's BWBH @ozzieowen was back, successfully casting his net in shallower waters this time & taking down MidEx.
It's Sunday & I've got sport to watch & golf to play, so I'm a bit short of time. I've tried to namecheck the less well-known players, but there were also wins for the likes of @tonyp142 (£1k Rebuy), @Froozle (Sheriff), @GFKIJKLL (Turbo) & @ScottMo1 (Quickdraw). Well done all.
