    Perhaps that's why Sunak kept banging on about the Labour tax hikes because he knew once Labour actually saw the books they'd find out exactly how bad of a state the country was in and they'd have to raise taxes to sort out the mess him and the Tories had created.

    Sky did a projection on how much the parties would increase taxes by based on their manifestos.
    The Lib Dems were highest, although obviously irrelevant.
    Labour was higher than the Tories.
    So this is not a surprise.
