Morning.
Regular readers will know we often discuss the reasons for good or bad traffic numbers and that good weather is a really bad thing for online traffic. Well yesterday we sweltered big time, online poker traffic was guaranteed to come under pressure, & so it proved. Luckily, it was only surface wounds, just over £300, but it was a little surprising that almost all of it came from the Mini (£140) & even more surprising that the usually reliable Reload missed by £162. The FTT events had a bad night too, but in relative terms, small numbers. Across the board, numbers were generally subdued.
The £4,000 Marksman Main just about crept over the guarantee line, with Sky Poker 16 year veteran @NIHIGHGUN taking top spot. Mostly plays MTT's but has played a decent amount of cash down the years too. Runner-up was @348423 of whom I know very little, except that this was his 4th Main Event FT this year & that he won a Predator Main back in 2021. The prolific & successful @FlynTimber was 3rd, & I note that in his last 100 MTT's alone he's made the Main Event FT six times.
@Card4Life won the Mini, he also won one of the FTT's & took the overall FTT top prize. A fairly successful night for @shad8604 as in addition to 3rd in Mini, he was 3rd in Sheriff & 2nd in a £300 BH.
Top spot in that Sheriff went to @loololollo who also won a £400 BH & was 2nd in Quickdraw.
Arguably player of the day - if there was such a thing - goes to @jammyfker who pulled off a lovely Rebuy BH/9 @ 9 win double & was 5th in Mega. To be fair, it must have been a very weak Mega as the winner was the acerbic @ctbn.
@SILKY1978 mostly plays the 7 @ 7 & did so again last night without troubling the judge, but by way of a change he played the £800 BH last night & booked the win.
There was a sort of late night Trifecta for @utang - 1st in Turbo, 2nd in MidEx & 3rd in Quickdraw. It was his 2nd Turbo victory inside a fortnight.
@RUTSTER19 who has been 1st & 4th in Mains in the last month, took Quickdraw.
A month to the day since joining us, @Anna1234 had their very first Featured MTT win, taking Midex.
SPT seats went to two SPT regulars in @wineli & @Curt360x27
The oh-so-difficult to play @county won the PLO8.
