"Reasonable MTT traffic again last night with almost everything covering, although the £6k BH (recently upgraded from £5k) only just fell over the line & the Mini came up 5 entries shy. Considering the continued hot spell, & of course the RWC which featured a home nation (Wales) last night, that's very acceptable I'd suggest. Incidentally, the RWC has been tremendous so far, it's so refreshing to see players playing the game honestly & respecting the referees, so unlike football.
Starting with the Major, of course, & just 48 hours after taking Friday's Avenger Main, @super-oliwas the winner, so he's taken the week's two biggest 8pm events this week. He now sits 6th in the Sharky 2023 Sky Poker MTT leaderboard & has a 90 rating. It was his 3rd best result all-time, not far behind a 2020 UKOPS High Roller & a Vegas package earlier this year. 3rd in that UKOPS HR was @destinycod & he was 4th in last night's Major, these two probably know each other's game pretty well. Last Sunday, @Tastysnack was 7th in the Major, & he improved to 2nd last night. Early pacesetter @Natnug was 3rd.
@HanoAA raised a few eyebrows by winning the Mini Major, which looks like a personal best. Been here 6 years but not played very much so far so maybe there's more to come. @claudel9was not a million miles off FTJ money, 4th in the Mini & 16th in the Major.
3rd in Friday's BWBH, & only a month or so since 2nd in the Major, @Swog had another great result last night, taking the £6k BH.
@Blaiseeeplayed a short schedule but it included a £3 Sheriff All-In Sat which he won & then he took Sheriff itself. 2nd was @Natnug, who as noted earlier, was 2nd in the Major.
The 7 @ 7 fell to @BeachBodywho then went on to finish 2nd in the Mini Major.
Toughest podium of the night must surely have been in Quickdraw, where the top 3 were @destinycod (1st) @loololollo (2nd) & @rspca12 (3rd). Imagine being in that with 4 left then glancing around the table & seeing those three animals all sitting there.
@Summers119 took Reload for the 2nd time this year. Has been Reload runner-up 3 times in the last year or two too. Does well in that tenner affair that also kicks off at 21.30 too.
@Fataoulas1 has been making waves in late night stuff recently, & took MidEx.
Impressive stuff by @str8_2ace who was 3rd in the Rebuy BH on Saturday & then won it last night. Was here 8 years without making a penny but has improved by leaps & bounds this year & is making a decent return now.
Pleased to see the SPT Semi ran again, with @TheSaw & @Essexphil both joining @destinycod & @Natnug in the thinly populated "Two Seat Winners" lobby."
It was almost like winter had arrived last night, with the Featured MTT's all coming in with good numbers. In particular, the £5k Main made £6,900 & the £1,500 Mini was over £2,000, that's surely the best since last winter. By and large, all the MTT's we cover in the thread did very well too, with the Turbo the only disappointment, though it did at least cover. I love English summers, but at least when they end we have the benefit of more lively poker traffic. For every ying there's a yang.
Anyway, the usual brief Sunday write-up, so let's press on.
The Main went to @kenmillon who is not someone we see a lot of in the thread, but a bit of delving tells us it's at least his third Main event victory, plus he's won three Minis, a Sheriff, a Quickdraw and a few other assorted bits & bobs, so clearly useful. He had to be handy actually, as 2nd was @StayOrGo who we know all about, with @MynaFrett in 3rd. I have no way of checking, but I've not noticed @MynaFretton site for some time so I'm delighted at that result & hopefully they'll stay around for a while. In 4th was @Drewett who has won two Gold Rush Mains already this year. Tough FT that.
An interesting Mini FT too, with the win going to SPT regular @mildsteal0. Runner-up was @bert21 who has several Mini wins to his credit including the Avenger version, which is the one everyone wants to win. In 3rd was @Card4Life who has such a beautiful Sharky graph, & has (based on Sharky) a 53% ROI at an ABI of £6 over a 22,400 sample size which is mightily impressive. 5th was young @Swifteyyeu who was 3rd in the previous night's Main. If he can learn to produce those results on the same night he'll be proper minted. Last night's haul, in addition to 5th in the Mini, included 2nd in a £500 BH, 5th in MidEx & won a seat to the Main via a Frenzy.
@NChanninghad a remarkable night, playing just 3 MTT's & winning two of them, Sheriff & Turbo. I'm struggling to remember the last time he had a win double, unless of course we include the horses. Tough FT's in both too, in Sheriff it included @destinycod@Froozle& @claudel9 (who won the Main the night before), & in Turbo, the likes of @MikeyW94@Natnug@Froozle(again), & @Curt360x27. On Wednesday Neil was 3rd in the Main, & I understand he was "a bit" unlucky, so he's had quite a week.
@sprazzer started September by running 2nd in the Rebuy BH, & got his revenge last night, going one spot better.
For the 2nd time in just over a week, @coleywon 9 @ 9, having only played 7 or 8 MTT's in the last two months.
MidEx went to @ronnieg197 who has some very decent form including a Main, Turbo, Mini, & this was his 2nd MidEx.
Congrats to @LadyHaHa2 who broke their featured MTT duck by winning Reload, & managing to beat the handy @gogogadget when it got Heads Up.
In the Sunday Major Freeroll, seat winners included @MAXALLY.
That's it for today, enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
with @MynaFrett in 3rd. I have no way of checking, but I've not noticed @MynaFretton site for some time so I'm delighted at that result & hopefully they'll stay around for a while.
Hi Tikay. I actually played some Sky games on Friday night as well but flew so low it's no surprise I didn't blip your radar. Last night was much better of course with the two 3rd place finishes and I'll certainly hope for more of that and less of the previous if I return to play more frequently going forward. Friday was the first time I've played some Sky games in almost a year and I'm pleased to see the site still alive and kicking and exceeding guarantees. Also pleased to see the forum continues with your good self at the helm. All the best.

I suspect all the Sheriff and Turbo regs just deliberately let me win last night to make sure they don't lose the old guy. In case you were wondering I was, of course, last in both while on the final two tables.

Ahh, I missed the other 3rd place, in the Rebuy BH, well done.
Yup, we are all still here, plodding along.
