This day last year
"@BillyPckle took the Main. Been here less than a year, & only played 331 MTT's but has done rather well. This was his 2nd Main Event win, & he's made 9 Main Event FT's including a Major. Finishing positions have been 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 6 & 6. Has won Turbo twice. In £110 events, he's been 2nd & 3rd (Major), 2nd BWBH & 4th Summit. One to keep an eye on if he starts to put in more volume. Runner-up was @BEANIE & who has won several Reloads & a Mini.
The Mini went to @crazykaron. Won a Mega a few months ago & a Sheriff this time last year, & has won a seat to the Major several times in the daily freeroll. Runner-up was @bongo69, who won the Avenger version of the Mini almost exactly two months ago.
@loololollo took Sheriff with the usual suspects well in evidence - @Natnug @whitters95 @Jessieak @BillyPckle - but the regulars party was gatecrashed thanks to a fine performance in 2nd by @rfc1990
In the 9 @ 9, @Easton35 achieved his first ever featured MTT win, though is a relative newbie here who has clocked up just 16 MTT's so far. In 2nd place was @funkybunch who you may recall won Tuesday's Main.
@bossquaid won Mega in which he has a great record, & already this month he's won it twice & been runner-up once. He won an SPT seat on Sunday so we'll see him in Manchester next weekend.
@Bailiffman had a short late-night session, bricking off in a £300 BH but seizing the lion's share in winning the MidEx.
7 @ 7 went to @ZAB who popped up with a surprise win in Sheriff a while back & by contrast, won a recent FTT.
@Camcam123 is a very infrequent MTT-er, just 12 games in 2 years, almost all of them in the 7 @ 7. Prior to last night his last game was at the end of July when he ran 5th in 7 @ 7 & he suddenly reappeared last night to claim 1st place.
Inn the SPT Semi there were 11 entries despite the usual 6 or 7 late withdrawals. @bigfatfish secured his 2nd seat, with @dosing winning the other seat the hard way, first getting through the Micro, then the Quarter, & eventually the Semi.
That's it for today. Tomorrow (Saturday) I'll be mostly AWOL from 0700 until 1800 so there won't be a write up though I'll try to do a Lite version.

MTT traffic was "OK", though with no televised football I was expecting it to be a shade better. There was a "Live" T20 pyjama cricket affair, England v Australia, but that was wrong on so many counts, not least it was freezing cold (cricket is designed to be played in fine weather) but pyjama cricket is just a gimmick. T20 compared to real cricket is like WWE Wrestling compared to proper wrestling. Anyway, the end result was acceptable MTT traffic, with the £4k Main coming up just £50 shy of £5,000, with the only overlay being a £40 miss in the Mini.
Eyebrows were no doubt arched that @mover46 won the Main. Been here 4 years, played less than 100 MTT@s (50% of play is cash) & has never been namechecked in the thread before. Prior to last night's Main & a Mini last month it had been 18 months since he'd played an MTT here. ABI is about £4, but he turns up last night, buys in direct & 1 tables to the win. Gotta love the mysteries of poker. 2nd was @Upswing who, remarkably, played three Frenzy satellites to the Main & won all three, so he was on a sort of triple freeroll. 3rd was @mazzybabe who seems to make a habit of hitting the post or crossbar - 4th in a Sunday Major, 3rd, 5th & 6th in Avenger Mains & 3rd, 3rd, 3rd & 4th in regular £30 Mains. Come on Mazzy, keep the faith & the wins will eventually come & feel all the sweeter.
The Mini winner also 1-tabled it, with @belrope striking the right notes & taking 1st place. This was his 2nd Mini win, both of them Predators, the first being 2 years ago. Other notable results include wins in 7 @ 7, Reload, 7 the £800 BH. 2nd was @woody207 who, I note, played 3 All-In sats to the Mega & won all three. WAL. @toffeeandy was 4th, & his CV includes wins in Mini Major, a regular Mini & a MidEx. He's a good lad & would not mind if I poked a little gentle fun at him, but he's an Everton fan so I think he's suffered enough. More than enough, actually.
Sheriff winner @MikeyW94 is having the most splendid September, & up to last night (the 11th) has already won a Main, Quickdraw, Mega, Turbo & a Main as well as 2nd three times in Turbo & once in Quickdraw. Tuesday's Main event winner @NChanning was 5th.
For the third straight night @destinycod recorded a win - he took Monday's Main, Tuesday's Mega & last night's Turbo. What price the 4-timer tonight?
By way of contrast there was a maiden win for @wend6464 who eclipsed MidEx.
@cmorry67 took the Rebuy BH, their third featured win so far, having already won a Main & a Sheriff.
@harry18110 loves 7 & 7 & won it for the 4th time. Lifetime best on Sky Poker was 4th for over £2,000 in the £50,000 Super Weekend Main Event whatever that was, in 2018.
In the Rewards Freeroll there were cashes for @Amarie (again), @MynaFrett @SilverRiz & @MAXALLY.
Think that's about it for today. No football of note tonight (unless you count Harrogate v Doncaster), but the season restarts tomorrow so it'll be interesting to see what that does to poker traffic.
