"Numbers were - relatively speaking - very good last night. Perhaps due to the sudden turn to colder weather & "darker" nights, maybe? Hope so, roll on winter, numbers always pick up at this time of year. Ever the optimist, me...

In the £1k BH, RogueCell did well again, 2nd this time. She's enjoyed some lovely results recently, & of course she had a very deep run in Goliath from a monster field. It's her birthday this month too, though I'm sorry to say I've forgotten what date.

Crushy @loololollo had a wicked night, two wins - 7 @ 7 & Quickdraw, 11th in the Mini, 5th in Mega, 2nd in Sheriff, & 2nd in a £750 BH. Standard.

In the £1k Rebuy, @floppiNuts returned after a 6 year absence & took it down. What a way to return.

BWBH saw a star-studded FT, with @Doooobs grabbing the win after being prominent from the very beginning. All the finalists held the lead at one stage, @mattprawn looked like he had it sewn up at one point, as did SPT winner @wineli. For @Doooobs it was his 31st 4 figure cash on Sky Poker & his best of 2022.

In Avenger Main, which made over £8,000, @Super_Oli emerged top of the pile. At this point, I must apologise for putting a horrible beat in him in the SPT. He had J-J, I had Qs-Js & flopped 4 to the flush & we got it all-in. I missed my flush, but I somehow binked my Q. Ugh. Sorry Oli, but last night at least helped a little.

In the Mini we had a FTJ near-miss, with @Ramoerrr running 5th after 2nd in the Main, so he earns a £250 bonus.

Mega made a pleasing £1,480, with top spot going to @SMARTGOAT

Sheriff was full of serial winners as usual, with @Steed432 emerging on top.


In Turbo, it was the turn of @Morris707 to take a bow. He had a hot half hour in fact, 7th in Reload, won the £750 BH & then won Turbo too."

Had to defrost the car here in Derbyshire this morning, windscreen was frosted over, a sure sign winter is well on it's way, always a good sign for online poker. MTT traffic was OK last night, though once again the Mini was on the naughty step, missing for the 2nd time this week.

Young @Super_Oli took the Main. I have no idea if anyone reads the "This Day last year" feature", but for technical reasons today I had to do "This day TWO years ago" & as it happens the Main event winner was also our man @Super_Oli. Even by his standards, he had a great night. Won the Main, (having won his seat in a satellite), 4th in 7 @ 7, 4th in Reload, 4th in the 9.30pm £400 BH, 3rd in Turbo, 3rd in Quickdraw, 2nd in a £300 Turbo BH & 4th in MidEx. So he made the FT of SIX of the Featured MTT's. He's fast becoming the new @Natnug. 2nd last night was @StayOrGo who knows all about winning stuff like this, but it was just the wrong night to take on the Oli Bloke. 5th was Mr @gogogadget.

Congratulations to @swandog95 who makes their thread debut having won the Mini. Well done also to @woody207 who was 2nd in Wednesday's Mini & 6th last night, not easy to FT the Mini back-to-back.

There was more frustration for @StayOrGo in Sheriff, 2nd again. Having bumped into Oli Bloke in the Main, it was the excellent @seikus who beat him this time.

@PJS75 seems to do quite well & has a decent Sharky rating but rarely appears in these thread. Won Reload last night though, so maybe we'll see more of him, now.

16 year Sky Poker veteran @46229 had a welcome win in 9 @ 9. And if you are puzzled by that numerical alias, it refers to a famous LMS Steam Locomotive, Duchess of Hamilton, which has the footplate number 46229.

MidEx went to @AWOKEN who earlier this year won two Main events in the same week - Marksman & Sharpshooter.

@claudel9 is having a great September, & having won last Friday's Avenger Main, took last night's Quickdraw.

In the three early evening affairs, @Bradstent took the £800 BH, @CHIEFPDING won 7 @ 7 & @Neverymind finished top of the pile in the £1k Rebuy BH.

Familiar names cashing in the Rewards Freeroll included FT bubbler @Enut, SPT regular @karlluke and a regular prize winner in Forum Comps, @SilverRiz

That's it for today. The stop-start football season starts again tonight much to the delight of Sky Bet, but not so much Sky Poker. A bit of ying, a bit of yang.
