"Nice busy night, capping a really decent weekend. The Major topped £14,000 for the first time in a goodly while, and the SPT Manchester Semi made 3 seats (+£50 for 4th) for the first time. Champions League "proper" & Europa football starts this week though, so maybe a little quieter midweek.
Earlier this week @grindddwon the £110 Summit, & last night he did even better, taking the £110 Major & collecting just over £4,000, was 2nd in Turbo too. Has - arguably - as good a record in the Major as anyone here, having been 1st 3 times, 2nd 3 times, 3rd 3 times, 4th twice, 5th twice & 6th 3 times. Sharky now rate him 94 over a 4,450 sample size with an ROI of 45% from an ABI of £33. "Decent". Runner-up was@duonross who regularly does well in Minis & 9 @ 9, & the £2,317 he collected may well have been a PB. @custaerded was 4th & then ran 5th in the Mini, so he gets a £150 FTJ bonus. Only played Major & Mini, and these were just his 4th & 5th MTT's since July 2nd.
The Mini Major went to @cozzynffc who has only played a hundred or so MTT's in their 15 years here. I had limited success in searching his results, but this may well have been at the top of his range.
The £6,000 BH made a healthy £6,750 with @nutcr4ck30 taking a suite win. We don't see a great deal of him but he has some solid results, winning at least 3 Mains (including an Avenger) & he's been runner-up in this one previously too.
@luckme002 has been relatively quiet of late but bounced back to form by taking Sheriff which topped £1,500 last night.
9 @ 9 only covered guarantee by a single entry, a bit odd considering how busy the MTT's were, but there'll be no complaints from the winner @dexter27 who has only been here about 6 weeks & was registering his first Featured MTT victory. I'd like to think he was named after a breed of cattle, or maybe a famous cricketer, but maybe the real reason is a lot less exciting & it's just his surname.
@PAPABURG has endured a short downswing but earlier this week was 2nd in Mega then last night he took the Turbo, so maybe he's back on an upward trajectory now.
@fredsgirl is coming to SPT Manchester & put together some spending money for it last night by winning MidEx & 4th in 7 @ 7. The drinks will be on Paula.
A little break seems to have done @Asho28 the world of good, and he's now won 3 MTT's in the last 9 nights - the £1k BH twice plus last night's 7 @ 7.
@Trammer is a single-tabler who does particularly well in the £1k BH & he won it again last night.
For the first time in the current renewal the SPT Manchester Semi made 3 seats which went to @PhD@MrDooWop & @__Assassin (the last named winning his 2nd seat) & there was also £50 for 4th which went to @goldnballz.
That's it for today. Forest v Burnley live on TV tonight, so maybe numbers will be a little quieter than the last few nights."
MTT traffic was "OK", no more, no less. Highlight was perhaps Turbo making £1,620 which is close to the top of it's range, with only MidEx missing g'tee, & that by just two entries, or £40. Quite an interesting variety of winners last night, many of them not thread regulars, in fact no more than 2 of the featured MTT's went to familiar names. Which is a good thing I'd say.
Starting with Sharpy Main, @johnnyy took the top spot. It's his 2nd Main event win, the first being 4 years ago. 2 years ago he took down that big Sunday night BH, though his best result was 2nd in a boomlet Avenger Main for over £1,400. Interesting to note that Avenger had a £15,000 guarantee & made north of £16,000. None of us would ever wish another pandemic, but my oh my, it was good for Online Poker & we saw field sizes we'll never see again. An interesting runner-up last night in @hayter811 who was playing an MTT for the first time since running 2nd in Mega all the way back in April. @seikus was 3rd with @Limp2Lose 5th.
I'm afraid I know nothing about the Mini winner @Ally1 & not much more about runner-up @mark68 except that it was his first MTT for a fortnight & only his 8th in 3 months, all 8 of which were Minis. He collected ~£150 so that's enough to enter another 30 Minis.
The £800 BH & 7 @ 7 went to @STUNTMAN & @NEIL40respectively and I'd love to flesh that out a little, but I know nothing of either, both of whom are making their thread debuts.
I know a little more about the Rebuy BH winner @gingerbb5 as he was 6th in the same one 2 nights earlier.
In the Mega, @utangdid best. Serial winner here, having won 6 Quickdraws, 11 Turbos, & back in 2020, a huge boomlet Mini.
Yesterday @Theking92 made his thread debut by finishing 3rd in that BWBH that @bakersdoze won, & he was back in the winner's enclosure last night with another result, this time 1st in Sheriff. Won a mid-afternoon £300 BH a few days ago too. One to keep an eye on.
Yet another thread debut in the 9 @ 9 which went the way of @fabsct.
@gregos619 won Reload but his Sharky stats are blocked, so not much I can say, and there was yet another thread debut in MidEx which went to @lenger
Earlier, I said it was a good thing that so many "strangers" won last night, and it was, but it does not make for a very interesting review if I know nothing about them. Sorry about that, I feel I've wasted my time & yours, but it was not for the lack of trying.
Back tomorrow, hopefully with a more interesting write up.
