Hi, Hope everyone's well. Haven't been playing on here too long but I wanted to throw some suggestions into the mix in reference to MTTs. Sorry if these have been answered in the past but didn't fancy scrolling 100s of posts to look.
- Could all Bounty Hunters and satellites at every stake be a rebuy until late reg closes? This would be particularly helpful during daytime tourns where volume is quite low as an early knockout means a long wait until the next com. In turn, it'll increase payouts and interest? Can't see the negative side to this tbh.
- I think customized bet sizes should be available for players if they wish to use them. It'll help for players who multi table but particularly would help with betting on the mobile app as the bet size aspect isn't user friendly at all.
- More of the tournaments with a 3000 starting stack as opposed to 2000.
There are probably more but I'd be interested on what the thoughts are around these.
thanks

1. I'm not sure if you mean "rebuy" or "re-entry" as they are 2 different things. In either case, the short answer is this. There is no "upside" without a "downside". Your idea increases payouts precisely because people either have to stake more money for the rebuy or re-entry, or be at a disadvantage to those who will. Added to that, it tends to be winning players who will rebuy/re-enter, and losing players who will not. Which in turn makes losing players lose faster, and get less enjoyment for their money. And (even worse) leave quicker
2. Customized bet sizes? Would be popular. Trouble is-Sky Poker has a Budget of 50 pence per decade for computer upgrades. It is not going to happen
3. Larger buying stacks? More depends on how quickly Big Blinds rise in comparison to starting stacks. Personally, I would prefer more MTTs with quicker Levels. Say for every 3 MTTs during the day, 1 with 10 minute blinds, 1 x 7 minute and 1 x 5 minute. But Sky know their customer base better than me
I think it would be true to say that Sky has not spent as much updating its product as its rivals. But the thing is, it maintains its market share. Without spending that money.
1 - I should have clarified, was referring to re-entries. I agree with your points re the downside. I just think it happens everywhere else it should be considered, if only for the first 3 levels fir instance but I get your point entirely.
2 - Made me laugh!
3 - again, I agree. Would be great to see varying structures. I'd love to see more 3k stacks with 7 min blinds persoanlly.
thanks again for your response.
From memory, the only regular micro-stakes bounty hunter than doesn't have a 2k starting stack is the 19:30 £5.50 bounty hunter, which has a 3k starting stack.
I'm not opposed to deeper-stacked bounty hunters but think the majority of people are fine with what they have now and starting with 100BBs.
