"CL football affected numbers last night, with the £1k BH, Summit, 9 @ 9 & Reload all registering small misses. In fact it was the 2nd straight night 9 @ 9 has missed. Those apart, it was not too bad. There's more CL football tonight too, including the glamour tie of little Newcastle United v PSG All-Stars.

@HODLdollar took the Main. Only played around 112 MTT's in their 2.5 years here though plays a fair bit of cash. This was their 2nd Main event win, as they won a Hitman just under 2 years ago. Sharky give them an ABI of £44 & a hefty 91 rating. 4th was @HAYSIE who also nicked £58 in a lunchtime Timed affair, & it's only 4 days since he won Avenger Main. 5th place went to @duonross

The Mini was taken down by @LePonch, which looks to be his best result since winning a super competitive Sheriff a while back. In 6th was @duonross who actually won this one in August, & took a 9 @ 9 a week later. As he also made the FT of the Main (5th) he picks up £75 from the FTJ.

@peiratis88 seems to mainly play £110 events these days & took the Summit, just 4 days after making the FT of BWBH. Has over forty 4-figure cashes, including 4 Majors plus a few assorted Summits & BWBH's. Best two results were over £6,000 for 3rd in an SPT Online, & £5,000+ for 2nd in a UKOPS Main. Serious player. @Tastysnack seems to be making FT's for fun at present & did so again here, but has developed a nasty case of 2nd-itis, 2nd in this, & three-times runner-up in Sunday Majors since June. The rest of the FT was pretty much the usual suspects, including, I'm pleased to say, @mattprawn in 6th.

Monday's Mega winner @1267 was back in the winner's circle, 9 @ 9 this time.

@Drewett took Quickdraw less than 24 hours after also getting the lot in the Monday night/Tuesday morning MidEx.

Monday's Elim Freeroll winner @235467 took the £1k Rebuy BH with @Rashnikov 2nd & @Drewett 4th.

@StayOrGo won the Turbo, & @bearlyther the Mega.

There was an interesting winner of the £1k BH as it went to @bigg431 who may be a stranger to many of you, but I vividly recall them winning a televised PRIMO around 10 years ago & has a very decent CV indeed. PRIMO was a big thing in those days.

MTT traffic was sort of middling again, with 4 small overlays - Mini, Sheriff, Reload & MidEx.

Something of a surprise - a pleasant surprise but a surprise all the same - as @mumatt won the Main. Mainly a cash game player, in 15 years here has played just 612 MTT's, & in fact was playing MTT's last night for the first time since early August. Almost won some FTJ cash too, as was a close-up 10/246 in the Mini. Even better, won his Main Event seat in a £3.60 "Direct". Does have some form though, & was 2nd in a Predator Main back in July. 2nd was @plzfold who is another who has a bit of form, won a boomlet Gold Rush Main back in 2020. 3rd was @gogogadget and by chance his best result was also for winning a Gold Rush Main, though in his case it was last year. In a further coincidence, both 2nd & 3rd ( @plzfold & @gogogadget ) are within £50 of £10,000 of profit in Sky Poker MTT's if we believe Sharky.

The Mini had a really tough FT by Mini standards, with the win going to @Froozle & other finalists included @loololollo (who won the £800 BH), @Style & @FlynTimber. By Mini standards, that's a toughie.

@mainspring is winning for fun at the moment, & victory in 7 @ 7 means he's won 3 MTT's inside 24 hours - last night's 7 @ 7, & Sunday's Reload as well as a £300 BH. 2nd was @bongmong. When I'm King for a day I'll snap ban aliases like that. Whatever possesses someone to think that's a good idea? To be fair to Mr Bong, maybe he does not realise what it means.

Shoutouts go to two players who rarely get thread mentions, with the Rebuy BH going to @lewis345 and 9 @ 9 falling to @Daleoswans.

@Natnug remains well clear at the top of the 2024 Sharky Sky Poker MTT leaderboard but I bet he'll be pleased to see the back of September, which was, by his lofty standards, a shocker. Winning last night's Sheriff means he had just 4 Featured MTT wins in September - Sheriff, Turbo, the £1k Rebuy BH & a MidEx. He'd normally win more than that in any given week. Fair play to him though, I've rarely heard him moan about his luck, or bad beats. An unusual & unwanted 24 hour double for @NChanning who finished 6th in Sheriff both nights, & collected exactly zero in prize money. He's had a good run lately though, so I guess he'll cope.

Pleased to see @lammin win Turbo, as he's hit the woodwork a few times in recent days - 14/166 in Saturday's Sharpshooter Main, & 11/96 in Sunday's Major. It was a proper tough FT too, 2nd was @pooochy who won Sunday's £5k BH & 4th was Sunday's Major winner @purpleaki1.

In the PLO8, top spot went to @Enut. He collected ~£80 for that but I fancy he'll be out of pocket by the time he's paid for cakes for the Estate Staff & the mandatory commission to Mrs Enut. Fingers crossed we'll see him at SPT Brighton next month.

And finally, well done to @mumsie who ran 7th in the Rewards Freeroll, he works so hard for our Community so it's good to see him collecting a few bob with increasing frequency.

Cake? Cake! Why would I let them eat cake? Then they get fat and don't work so hard.
Mrs Enut doesn't get commission, in fact I rarely tell her when I win, I made that mistake once. Many years ago I finished playing about half one in the morning, when I went to bed I got the third degree from her about how many hours I'd played for. I responded that I'd won about a thousand (back when I used to play the main now and again and actually won one!) Her response after continuing the argument? 'Well it wasn't worth it, was it!' No dear, probably not.

I've no real desire to play the live MTTs, not my thing really and I have plenty to do at the weekends anyway. I might just pop along and buy you a coffee and rail for a while though, maybe this year!
