So my girlfriend is away at the moment I wont say exactly what day she gets back, because she probably does not want me sharing exact info like that etc.
However I wanted to make everything really nice for when she gets back so I wanted to have blue berry pie and crumble and maybe some other blueberry related dishes (she really likes blueberries like almost as much as I like that Castello Danish blue cheese which comes in the triangle).
This may sound easy like just google the dishes etc, however the issue is that the Oven is having problems. The temperature knob keeps coming off and it is nion impossible to get on as it was. I have mentioned just getting the whole oven replaced but my girlfriend believes she can fix it with super glue and that throwing the whole thing out because of this is a waste of money. We have the money but she would rather allocate it to other things and she is the boss.
So this leaves me in a challenging predicament how do I cook these nice dishes for when she comes back when I cant know what temperature the oven is at for sure? like it could vary anywhere from 150-250 and I will be just guessing and going on feel.
I dont think you can check the oven dish every five minutes without ruining it so yeah thats the problem.
also if anyone knows any nice blueberry related dishes either like as a main meal or a dessert/ starter course feel free to post suggestions. we already know about the blueberry and bacon sauce pork tenderloin and yes that is delicious.
(yes i am from a Jewish background but that is ethnically I dont believe in the religion and I regularly eat pork products it annoys my family though that is not the motive for doing so)

however just for that your not getting the recipe for my marmite and beef spag bol which I know I am not good in the kitchen but many people say is really good.
It's not like we know her or even care.
Why do you have to post a back story to everything.
Just ask the pie question, everything else is irrelevant.
Are you blind baking a case first then adding a lid later. Will the mix be fresh or pre prepared. How thick is your pastry, I'm assuming its watercrust.
Does your oven have a fan assist. Is it gas or electric. Can you not go online and find a recipe with all the relevant settings and timings.
Handy hack coming up. Go to the bakery, buy one and pop it in the oven to warm through before presenting it. She'll never know the difference, unless of course it tastes too good.
You're welcome.
