    Cheers stokie.
It was obvs a low stake spin up,
Lots of people bluff at this stake, but pretty sure i was dead after river,
    Only losing to a bluff??
Ty for the reply, gl gl

    No problem Dave
Four suits on the board i always think they must have it , people at low stakes seem to call any bet with the flush draw

I think you put this in on the turn, there's enough randomness in these stakes to see all sorts of hands. Worst case scenario he has a flush and we need the board to pair. There are situations where he has 2 pair and is dead, or has a pair with a diamond which we are doing well against. You've only got 3 quid behind after you call so think it is best to just commit to your hand here. Sets are good hands blind on blind

Hi Groggy, thanks for the reply,
Not being pedantic but i pot betted the turn after oppo checked,
In my mind i was hoping for a fold from him / her after the turn.
Totally get what you mean , should i have jammed after oppo checked the turn?

My bad on that I misread the action. I'm not as sure on it now. Maybe half pot the turn to make sure he doesn't fold an 8 that is drawing dead and accept that on diamonds when he does this we are going to have to fold, but I don't mind the idea of going big and not giving him the right price to draw. On river seems hard to be ahead, he'd have to call a huge bet with an 8 and decide to bluff it on river, seems much more likely he has just made his flush. You only need to win around 15% of the time to breakeven though, tough one. It is a hard hand so a good one that you have posted here.

anyone think checking behind on the turn woulda been a better play?

defo coulda got away on that river if they vaue bet it.....

checking behind getting a free card to make the full, or having to call a smaller bet on river woulda been my prefered action there i think, reraise jamming the diamond river if they bet also looks much stronger imo.......
