Conclusion While most of these supermarket offerings are similar, I was blown away with Aldi's version from the Bilash range, and for the price, you certainly can't go wrong. Despite them all having different ratings, it's fair to say every supermarket is extremely generous with the amount of chicken and sauce provided. They were all big, hearty dishes and while I think some can't rival authentic takeaways, they're definitely an easy option to have as a treat in just a matter of minutes.

Ready meals are great and if I have one concern, particularly as we move away from the EU food hygiene standards( USA chlorinated chicken, hormone injected beef etc) is the use of these types of cheap meats, put into a lovely flavoured-masking-curry sauce for eg
Honestly, we won't even realise the harmful and crapmeat we are consuming...it's not great now but as people want to keep the price down and the range of foods available for ease of consumption, these highly processed foods are damaging in more ways than we can imagine...
The other big issue is plant based ready meals!
Why they try to make a product look and taste like meat, I don't know , but genuinely just read the list of ingredients in any of the dishes...staggering
