"Interesting that it was such a bad night last year, as one might argue it was much of the same last night with guarantee misses in Main, Mini, £1k BH, 9 @ 9 & Reload. At least the misses were smaller, & the Main made (excluding guarantee) £4,860, which was a whopping 32% better than last year's £3,690. Quite interesting that last year & this year both had similar poor nights because in both cases it followed a long spell of very decent numbers & came out of the blue.
@Bensons22 took the Main & in doing so secured his best ever score here. Has been playing a fairly full schedule most night, but the last 2 nights he's just one-tabled the Main, nothing else. Maybe that helped. It's well established that the more tables we play the less efficient we become, it's a question of striking the correct balance.
2nd was @tartu who has won several Mains, but best of all a 2021 Major in which the FT featured the likes of @Alvez11 & @destinycod
@buckaroooo took the Mini & stayed on site until the early hours, presumably to alleviate one-table boredom, & won a little Timed affair.
Two weeks ago @mumsieran 2nd in the Mini, & last night he was 4th. Spookily, on the very same night last year he was 3rd in the Mini.
@ScottyKaye seems to mainly play the early evening stuff, & last night he won the opening £1,000 BH, having won 7 @ 7 24 hours earlier. Don't think he's ever had back to back wins before.
It was a strange day for @oldscrote who won a £150 BH that began at 10.30am then was back on site to take down the £1k Rebuy BH.
@Jondog35 who has played just 6 MTT's this year won Mega. It was his third Mega won, the first two occurring weeks apart in 2020 after which he seemed to almost disappear.
@WILL7B7 who is a multi winner of Reload stepped up a gear last night & won 9 @ 9.
It was not a good night for the usual serial winners, the two exceptions being @bearlytherwho won Reload & @loololollo who came out on top in Turbo."
Tuesday of UKOPS week is always fairly quiet with (relatively) modest guarantees & such was the case last night. Guarantees totalled £31,000, there was zero overlay, & prize pools came in 12.4% higher at £34,850. Nothing to get excited about then, but "satisfactory".
The night's "Main" saw an extraordinary result in oh so many ways. Starting with the winner, @Champion94, for those with Sharky, take a look at his graph this morning. Almost perfectly flat for 8 years, just above break even, it suddenly went vertical last night. Last night was his 1,999th game here, but it's taken over 8 years to play the last 100 of them. (For balance, 75% of their play is at the Cash Tables). Biggest cash prior to last night? £289. Last night's 1st prize? £3,398. ABI over those 2,000 games? £2.31. Last night's buy-in? £110. And it was their first - & only - MTT here for a week. Isn't that wonderful? The glorious uncertainty of poker. Love it, love it to bits.
Runner-up was @Swifteyyeu. I've never met this Gentleman, but from reading various stuff he writes I've got him pegged as quite a young chap, but one with what seems a natural gift for the game. Has won three regular Mains (2 x Marksman, 1 x Hitman), two of which were this year. Last night he collected £1,821 for 23nd, & curiously, his biggest ever cash was almost a year ago to the day, when he won last year's Autumn UKOPS 16 & went home with ~£4,500. I fancy there will be plenty more big wins for him.
3rd was @richking who has been showing some decent form of late, including 4th in a Sunday Major 10 days ago.
4th was @seikus. Don't want to ignore @seikus, but is a serial winner here, & there's nothing new I can tell you, except that they are very talented, despite some of the snarky comments about him in the Table Chat last night by a serial moaner.
In 5th was @aynaricolwho managed the unusual & dexterous feat of finishing 6th in a £5.50 entry PLO8 thingie whilst playing a £110 UKOPS event that was some £104 above her ABI. (Satellited in, obv). Her result came exactly a week after she won a £3.30 entry Reload. Has history of occasional big results, best of which was 1st place in an Xmas 2021 UKOPS Mini, has also been in the winner's circle for 2 Hitman Mains as well as 2nd in the old £6,000 (now £5,000) Sunday night BH.
Filling 6th place was @Upswing who also ran 2nd in last night's UKOPS 31. I'm just guessing here, but he's now made FIVE FT's this UKOPS, & I'm struggling to think of any player who has bettered that. His FT scorecard so far is 3rd in UKOPS 11, 5th in UKOPS 13, 2nd in UKOPS 16, 6th in UKOPS 28 & 2nd in UKOPS 31.
Sorry if I've blathered on rather too much about last night's Main, & yes it will mean less coverage of the other 5 events, but it just seemed to me to be a very interesting FT.
The Mini was an £11 entry Turbo BH & made £4,560. Compare that with the regular Sunday night Mini Major, same entry fee (£11) & it struggles to cover it's £1,500 Guarantee. Food for thought. Anyway, the win went to Mr @Arrogant, and that's his 2nd win of this Series, as he won UKOPS Sunday's UKOPS 14 too.
The opener went to @steveysee, & thereby hangs a tale. He does very well in the MML run by @mumsie & instead of using the Free entries he won at the time he saved them up for UKOPS, & ended up with a UKOPS "kitty" of about £400. So he sent me his list of entries, & it's worked out wonderfully, on Sunday he ran 3rd in the Main & now he's won #27. He'll be chuffed to bits.
#31 was another toughie, with Gareth @GSmith13 collecting the top prize, & @Upswing making his 2nd FT of the night & 4th FT of the Series, best of which was 2nd in Sunday's Main which was worth over £2,000 to him. in 4th was @Doubleme which was a terrific score for him.
The mercurial @albania won the closer, & that makes three wins this Series, as he had a win double on Saturday. He's very talented indeed.
That's it for today. More Champions League & Champo football on TV tonight, but Sky Poker coped last night - zero overlay - so maybe it'll he fine.

Really enjoyed reading this thank you for the write up haha, I'M FAMOUS!
I play 99% of my poker on other sites, but when I was younger many years ago started on SkyPoker - hence the lack of volume in MTTs and such in the last 8 years.
I enjoyed yesterdays tournament - I find you get a lot more players on Skypoker willing to engage in chat, something lost on the other platforms. So maybe I'll transtion and play some more volume here in the years to come. Shout out to Swiftey who gave me good chat in the early tournament, before we were seperated and then reunited on the final 2 tables -> final table - good lad.
Funny story, I deposited £100 yesterday "just for fun" - jumping into £2/£4 spin ups (that is usually what I do here on Sky Poker - I play my serious poker elsewhere), lost 2 buy ins after being up £200 then yeeted the last £20 in for 5bbs and ran up to get 2 buy ins to the £110. A tournament I only saw out of chance.
I then lost my first stack within 5 hands bluffing A6o into KK for a gazillion bbs before transforming into the Sun Run God himself on my second bullet to take it down. So basically, it was a miracle I even entered this tournament in the first place.
This was actually my 4th big cash of the week so its been a CRAZY one for me! Since I last graced Skypoker with my presence I have improved a lot, hence why I was comfortable playing the £110 and why my ABI is so low!
Unfortunately (but also very fortunately) I am heading out to travel Asia for a bit later this week so wont be able to play the rest of the series due to location restrictions, best of luck to the players competing! Also if I knew there was a series on I would have totally fired the previous 35 events and tried to challenge for leaderboard places and the glory - but it is what it is.
You are right, poker is a wonderfully glorious game, and I love it too just like you do!
Also just to clarify - I wasn't a massive fan of those "snarky comments" you refer to in your post either. Especially on a FT where the guy is chip leading and competing for a trophy / decent payouts.
I'm all for competitive banter, and even pushing boundaries to get under an opponents skin, but only if you are sitting on the table with someone and doesn't involve instructions to other players. The chat I'm praising from this site/player pool is not referring to this of course.

"Is there a player leaderboard?"
Yes, here it is after Day 5;
