"Reasonable numbers for a Monday, no doubt helped by lack of attractive football on TV, all we had was Coleraine v Glentoran in the Northern Ireland Premier Division. In fact it was a very enjoyable watch.
Marksman Main made a healthy £5,670, which compares very favourably with £4,470 this day last year, a 27% y-o-y increase.
Quite a story in the Main too, with 1st place going to @Swifteyyeu. Name ring a bell? He was the 19 year old lad who, out of nowhere won the UKOPS Main on the first Sunday for nearly £4,500. Here's the thread he started by way of celebration, & quite right too;
And we're not done yet, not only did he win last night's Main, he was 2nd in the Mini, so gets himself a £2,500 FTJ bonus. That's really some going for a 19 year old newbie. He's either really lucky, or really good. Either way, I'm pleased for him, seems a decent sort.
If you are reading this @Swifteyyeu I saw you asking on the tables last night when that £2,500 would be paid. It has to be checked by the Fraud people to check there was no hanky-panky & your details are in order. Once that's done, it gets paid. If I had to guess, you'll be paid it this afternoon, all being well.
In the Mini, it was @RonnieD with no previous significant form & making his thread debut who, in effect, cost @Swifteyyeu a cool £2,500, though Sky Poker won't complain, as it saved them £2,500. Err, well done RonnieD...
@loololollohas not been running great but he did win last night's Mega, the 2nd time he's won it this month, he won a Turbo last week too, though that's about it for November except for 5th in the big (£500) UKOPS which yielded a very useful £1,860. That HR result will certainly have helped.
9 @ 9 was taken down by @Sue79 who also won a Reload last month.
@Winner5603 will be pleased with himself, only played 1 MTT last night, the Turbo, & won it.
@ben2002 is a very infrequent MTT-er, just 27 MTT's since signing up in April, but does particularly well in MidEx & won it for the 2nd time last night, & has made the FT 4 times.
@county won the PLO8 yet again. He's a frustratingly difficult opponent to play, as his game is wholly unconventional. With players who don't play "by the book" it's too easy to say they are no good, but the reality is different can often be good, & is incredibly awkward to play against.
Reload went to @Airsy84 and the only previous featured MTT result I can find for him was 16th in a Mini Major in August.
Starting with the numbers, UKOPS Day 10 guarantees were a breath taking (by Sky Poker's standards) £84,000, with prize pools coming in 3.2% higher. Does not sound much but I bet there was a sigh of relief in Sky Towers, especially as the cash tables are always heaving on a night like last night. As I appear to suffer from chronic OCD, I could trot out the overall guarantees & prize pools for the entire Series, but I fear you'd go all comatose on me. Suffice to say it went OK.
On to the results now, & the first thing to say is that last night's UKOPS Main is NOT on Sharkscope at time of writing. I have no idea why, or if it will appear at some stage, but if you cashed in it, & these things matter to you, drop them an e-Mail. For now though, it does not help me with my write-up, but I guess I'll cope.
Winner of the £40,000 Main was @Steed432, who has been MIA most of this Series, though he did run 4th in Thursday's UKOPS 38. It was a lifetime best on Sky Poker for Steedy, though his pedigree is clear, as he has won three Sunday Majors, three BWBH's & 2 Summits. Sharky rate him at 94 & say he has a 38% ROI off an ABI of £47. Most impressive & probably a deserving winner.
Runner-up was a huge surprise (to me, anyway) as @SevenTreywho is almost exclusively a cash game player surprised everyone, himself included one imagines. Been here 12 years, plays a fair amount of cash games & does OK but has played just a few dozen MTT's in those 12 years & his entire MTT profit came from his £5,800 bink last night. In 3rd was @loololollowhich was certainly a surprise to nobody. I'd like to comment further but I've said everything there is to say about him time & time again. 4th was @JammyFker who we will return to shortly, and @chkngeorge (5th) continues to do well as he gradually moves up the stakes. In 6th was @buddha350 who has played less than a dozen MTT's here this year. Used to be a big player here back in the & has won the Sunday Major/Super Roller 5 times.
Amongst the cashees were all sorts of interesting characters, including @BrownnDog (remember him?), @PAPABURG@Duesenberg@bakersdoze (who busted @IVIysticalin truly spectacular fashion), @HAYSIE& @MynaFrettwho I am sure will have been veery pleased to min-cash after an evening mixing it with Team Big Boy.
@Hoff92 won the High Roller & that won't be a surprise to anyone as he has a truly sensational CV. 12 years with Sky Poker, & play split roughly 50/50 between cash & MTT's. Won everything, most of it many times, but his claim to fame must surely be winning both Avenger Main & Mini on the same night in 2019, which of course earned him a bonus of £5,000 from the FTJ.
What WAS a surprise - & a huge surprise - was the runner-up. On Monday of this week, after finishing 6th in that night's UKOPS 22 Main & collecting £637, @nickkay posted this on the Daily Write-Up thread...
"Fantastic result for me, as a low stakes grinder, satellited in for a fiver was a great result, disappointed in the final table, exit hand knew I was dominated, but can't complain, 600 plus quid is a lot of money to me, hopefully some more decent runs to come."
Well last night, after satelliting into the High Roller, they came 2nd for £4,400 (FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED POUNDS). These things are relative to our skillet & bankroll, & if they were pleased with themselves as a low stakes grinder for winning £600 odd, I can barely imagine how they feel this morning. A truly sensational performance.
3rd was @Gambuuuuulwho does not grace us with his presence much (last night was just his 8th MTT here since 2019), but when he does it's usually at the very biggest stakes. No idea if it's accurate, but Sharky say his ABI in Sky Poker MTT's is £128.
4th was @ra1dwith Thursday's UKOPS Main winner @DAVEMCDAID in 5th & young @Swifteyyeu in 6th. As you'd expect from any good Site Ambassador, @NChanning FT bubbled himself to let his Customers take the glory.
This time last year @Panda8 won their first UKOPS & was 4th in another a few days later, & last night doubled their UKOPS win tally by taking down the Mini. Has a Major win in the bank too.
A terrific result in the opener, UKOPS 58, with the eloquent @JammyFker taking top spot, he also ran 4th in the Main. Always enjoy his Forum posts, & he's always quick to say "well done" to others. If only we had a few more like him. 4th was @roytheboy7 who you may recall won the UKOPS Rebuy a week last Saturday. In 5th was @Duesenberg who likes to pretend he does not like MTT's but really he loves them to bits, believe me. 80% of his play is at the cash tables, but he earns solid money at both cash & MTT's despite keeping the stakes low. Would win fortunes if he moved up stakes, but hopefully he won't do that, he'll just carry on enjoying what he does with no pressure. That's what ALL recreationals should do.
I've gone well over my preferred word count for today & you'll mostly have nodded off by now, but just a quick congrats to @Froozle@tonyp142 & @seikus who won the last 3 events, UKOPS 62, 63 & 64 respectively.
We must also congratulate those who did well in the UKOPS Leaderboard, with @PRhack93 gaining top spot through sheer consistency, think he had 2 wins & 9 FT's, with @loololollo 2nd & @Tedson 3rd.
So that's it, yet another UKOPS done & dusted. Think it went pretty well, the software behave itself, such as it can & we had some terrific results, particularly from some of the smaller-staked players.
I'm sure I'll get accused of BSUHA but I really think @Sky__James deserves some credit for devising & managing the whole thing. He ploughs a lonely furrow up in Head Office & rarely gets a mention, but very little, if anything went wrong & the Guarantees seemed to be spot on.
Hopefully some of you enjoyed the write-ups, it may seem odd but I actually enjoyed doing them. Next UKOPS will likely be over Christmas, hopefully we'll all still be around to enjoy it.
Thanks for the excellent write-ups Tikay. The series was great. I enjoyed being a part of it and competing with some outstanding players over the ten days. Congratulations to all the big winners.
Great job @Sky_James and @Tikay10 for the promos and write ups, great promos to allow the lower Abi players a chance to play the bigger events. Thanks.
Kind words Tikay and an unbelievable result for a small stakes MTT player like me. The fact I was a river card away from winning it did sting a bit, but the Hoff fought back from a 3/1 chip deficit to get the win. I don't think I've ever been as nervous playing poker but once I forgot about the money at stake and the fact 96% if not all the field are far better players than myself, I settled down.
That sort of money for myself and my family, at this time of year really is unimaginable, so thank you from the bottom of my heart to all at Sky. Special mention to Neil Channing, huge fan for years, was a shame to see him bubble the tournament, but I don't think I've ever shouted as loud as he busted and we had made the money
It was a delightful evening spent discussing all different types of pizzas one could enjoy with the very generous ladder ups offered by Sky Poker in the main event.

Great write up's as always @Tikay10 and wished I had got to play a little earlier in the series but was great fun and a hard battle with many of the reg's here along the way and an array of talent right across the buy in spectrum.
Wp @Steed432 for a wholesome long grueling battle in the main
