Coming from the hospitality(tipping) point of view?

We don't even bother carrying cards now, never mind cash...that's what the wallet on the phone is for!

The lack of cash has had a massive impact on staff's tips as unless the software used allows for the option to add a tip or the staff ' suggest' it( most are too embarrassed to mention it), the option to reward staff for excellent service/food etc had diminished!

Since covid ah use ma card all the time, ah would rather use cash but am too lazy to draw oot cash from the ATM.
Ah was in Liverpool recently there was a lot of homeless people on the street plus beggars who seemed to work a 9 to 5 shift.
As ah don't carry any cash, ah felt a bit uncomfortable sayin " ah don't have any money " any time ah was tapped, and ah was thinking to maself these poor folk must been down a few quid since the covid carry on as most folk just use cards now.
