I didn't realise @Essexphil had some many vehicles at his disposal ?😉
Essex is no different to everywhere else. In its village mentality and internal divisions. Call me a thief or a criminal by all means. But don't accuse me of being from Thurrock or Saafen-on-Sea
Reminded me of a particularly salacious murder in a (very pretty) village near me some years ago. Made the national news. The Headline was something like:-
"Sex slave kept under floorboards murdered in Thorpe-le-Soken, near Clacton".
And the locals were outraged. They said-excuse me. We like to be known as near Colchester. Not near Clacton.

But his satnav isn't working, so he has no idea where it is
It is rumoured that (like Douglas Carswell, once of UKIP) he intends to rent or buy in Thorpe-le-Soken. Because he certainly does not want to mix with the likes of people who would actually vote for him
Mr Farage resonates with some of the Clacton residents. Who knows? He might actually bring some investment in via his rich US mates.
Trouble is. Everything that he touches ends up being all about Nigel. Rather than the cause he pretends to care about.
Farmers will never admit that Brexit has hurt them. But they are wise enough not to want their cause hijacked by that self-publicist

@Essexphil
Is Clacton the Constituency so wonderfully represented by Mr Farage?
