"After two flat nights, especially Wednesday, numbers bounced back nicely last night, especially the Main which made £6,210, a handsome 28% up on last year's £4,830. There was no football of note that night either, as was the case last night, so it's a straight comparison.

@LFCChris86 took the Main, which was a little unexpected. Been here just over 3 years & is nicely in profit, but most of his MTT successes come in stuff like Quickdraw, which he's won many times. Don't think he plays cash, certainly not much, anyway.

In the Mini, @Bcarney97 prevailed. Been here just over a year but played just 152 MTT's. Only one other significant win but that was a good one, took down the Sharpy Main at the end of September, so his record now is two wins - a Main & a Mini.

@NChanning had a solid session, playing just 4 MTT's, winning Mega & 4th in Turbo. I'm inclined to think he probably plays his best poker in non -BH's, though I'm just guessing. It's an age thing.

Also among the night's better efforts, @JBERGZ won Turbo & was 2nd in Sheriff.

Sheriff went to @Froozle, who has 3 Major victories on a glittering CV, though his best score was 2nd in a 2021 UKOPS Main for just shy of £6,000. Has a dozen or more cashes in excess of £2,000 & a 37% ROI over a sample size of 24,000 at an ABI of £13.

@BING restricted himself to just 2 Mega & 9 @ 9, winning the latter.

@mainspring - one to watch?...- took 7 @ 7. He won a big UKOPS Mini a few years ago.

For the 4th time, all this year, @davtherav won 7 @ 7.



@jinky77729 jinked his way to 1st place in Reload, one-tabled it too.

Also 1-tabling, @8wizard8 performed his magic to win MidEx.

As seems to be the case most night, the SPT Semi, needing entries to run, had 10 entries 2 minutes before start time, but than all the withdrawals took place as per & so it never ran again. Bit sad to see, but perfectly legit of course.

That will have to do for today.

Tonight sees the end of the "International Break" in football, thank goodness, I loathe those breaks with a passion. Sky Sports TV will be showing the Champo semi local derby between Rotherham & Leeds, the two clubs being separated by just 33 miles of a usually congested M1. Fair distance between them in the League Table though. Even so, Rotherham must have some value appeal at 13/2, & for sure backing Leeds away at 2/7 does not sound much fun. Sounds like an ideal spot to set fire to £5 or £10 to me."

With far & away the best looking football fixture of the Season on TV (Liverpool v Real Madrid) there was never any prospect of decent traffic on any online poker site, & Sky Poker was no exception, with the Featured MTT's missing by a combined £940. It's easier to list those that hit guarantee actually - £800 BH, Rebuy BH & Quickdraw - the other 9 all missed. Meh.

The Main went to @Champion94 & if you enjoy seeing weird Sharky graphs, take a look at his. It's almost flat for 9 years & 2,000 games & in the last few weeks it's gone vertical. Won a UKOPS Main a few weeks ago for north of £3,000 & then won last night's Main & pocketed almost £1,100. In 4th was @ra1d who was 4th in the recent UKOPS High Roller & won Summit two nights ago.

In the Mini, @Niggsys took 1st place. Has made a few FT's recently including 7 @ 7 & Mini Major but I believe this is a PB.

Player of the Night - if there were such a thing - goes to @Drewett who clocked up two wins, Rebuy BH & Quickdraw, plus 3rd in Sheriff. Has won the Sunday Major 3 times, in fact he's finished in every FT position in the Major except 5th.

Congrats to @franner1 who won the £800 BH for the 2nd time in a fortnight. 4th was @suitnboot who won Monday's Mini & was 5th in Tuesday's Mini. Best not ask how they got on last night.

The last 3 thread namechecks for @thumper210 have been for making the FT (but not winning) Mega, last night they tried a change of scenery by entering 9 @ 9 & was rewarded with 1st place. Runner-up was @Slipwater who I'm very pleased to see back on the Forum, he definitely livens the place up. Decent bloke, clothes-sense excepted. The all-conquering @PAPABURG was 4th, after taking a 5 day break. Has won everything in sight the last few weeks, then had a bit of a shocker last night, playing a big schedule but coming up dry except for 4th in 9 @ 9. Yay, he's human, after all.

@buckaroo is another who tried a change of tack last night. Usually does well in the Rebuy BH but decided to try Reload last night & ended up with the win.

In the penultimate SPT Brighton Semi, @scuba61 won his 3rd seat, & @ubeenpwned collected £198 in cash. The 2nd seat went to @Dunc007 who joined us just two weeks ago & has exclusively played SPT Brighton satellites, nothing else, so I'm pleased he eventually got his seat.

That's about it for today. More European football tonight, but not to the quality of the last 2 nights, so maybe traffic will perk up.

I'm heading south to SPT Brighton later today, not back until Monday, so I may not be able to do these daily write-ups until I'm back home, but I will do the bare results at the very minimum.
