Yes, but I suggest it's too late. It's a bit like the Gerald Ratner thing, some things, once said, can't be unsaid. We know he THINKS what he said, he just wishes he had not SAID it.
Life will go on just fine without him on TV every night.
They want to take the show off in case it " Triggers " some so called celebrities, ffs grow up, most of these people are no shrinking violets themselves who would turn up at the opening of an envolope but never said anything to the papers when it happened.
I've never watched celebrity masterchef, never will, the other one's are the only shows ah watch on the BBC not because of the presenters because in ma old age ah have taken up cooking.
I'm not really interested in all this public scrutiny of people on the telly i've never seen him or her in any programmes so i don't what goes on What piqued my interest does Nigella say her innuendo's to other people on her show or just to the camera where mostly blokes find them amusing and fantasise whereas most women think it's a let down to them ,and is what she says any different to what he says in this day and age
Gregg Wallace was originally picked because of precisely who he is.
Born into poverty. Sexually abused at the age of 8. Fruit and veg seller. Poor boy done good. Brings a boyish level of enthusiasm to MasterChef that makes it watchable.
Does he know how to act in social situations? Clearly not. Equally clearly, not in all social situations-just those where he is dealing with Celebrities, and cannot go to his fall-back conversation. Food.
Because no-one has accused him of anything other than acting like a 14-yr-old boy around some women. Won't be the first. Won't be the last.
The saddest bit has been the actions of his "friend", John Torode. They have worked together for about 20 years. Been Best Man at one another's weddings. By all accounts, less close personally since Mr Torode's latest wife found his banter unacceptable.
But he has always known what Gregg Wallace is like. His strengths. And his weaknesses. And, when a longstanding friend needs support, drops him without a second thought.
Give me a man who tells inappropriate jokes over a false friend any day of the week.

Gregg Wallace accused of touching woman’s bottom in new claims
I'm getting absolutely **** off with this holier than thou cancel culture endlessly perputrated by "offended".
More and more people are now starting to rip the whole woke culture and it's acolytes apart and about time.
Just because something may offend you doesn't mean it is offensive, neither is it neccessarily wrong, immoral, illegal or distasteful.
People getting offended, especially those who feel a moral ascendency to be offended on behalf of others, actually offend me. So I propose we cancel them all permanently.

If you want a reason why he struggles with sexual boundaries and acts inappropriately there it is. If you want to defend him then there is your defence. It is VERY difficult to have normal boundaries when you have been sexually abused as a child, it is the reason why a larger proportion of the abused go on to be abusers, because it has been normalised for them.
