Well Sky Poker took a right battering last night, as predicted yesterday. The best PL schedule of the season, & all 6 matches televised. And to aggravate matters, Amazon PRIME (who held the TV rights) insisted on staggered kick off times (7.30 & 8.15) so that made things even worse, the football "window" was basically 7pm until well past 10pm. Not an excuse, just the way it is. And as I always say in these spots, what's bad for Online Poker is fantastic for Sports Betting, so Sky Bet, Paddy Power, Betfair etc will all have had a great night. And they had a cherry on top too, the Newcastle - Liverpool was a real coupon-buster, so they will have had a stonking night. And that overlay? Around £1,876, spread across 8 of the Featured MTT's, with the Main & Mini performing particularly bad. Shall we move on. Probably best.
It was @Blaiseee who won the much-depleted Main, & it was his 2nd Main Event win since October, when he took down Avenger. In fact he's won Avenger Main 5 times, & I doubt many can beat that. Best ever score was 2nd for almost £5,000 in a 2018 "Super Weekend" Main Event. (anyone remember them?). A tremendous effort to finish 2nd by @W1b, that's form far & above anything he's shown before. Sadly, if he wants to see his name in lights on Sharky, they don't seem to have included the result, or not as yet.
The unpronouceable & unreadable @lIlldtgbht won the Mini, with the super-consistent @hhammerhea in 3rd.
Sheriff was amongst last night's worst performers, & it was @tonyp142 taking the honours ahead of @Froozle & @Jscorgie
@Frankson8 seems to be making great strides, & last night he had his best result yet, winning 9 @ 9. I understand he's been getting some coaching from one of our players, so it's good to see hard work rewarded. I met his poker coach over the SPT weekend actually, & all I can say is that either he's very young indeed or I'm very old. Or both.
Sharkscope is a bot of a mess right now, it was not working properly yesterday, & as well as missing last night's Main it missed the £800 BH too. @TTFC was the winner, playing, as far as I can tell, just his 8th MTT since July.
@glav66619 does not play every night these days but when he does it always 7 @ 7, & nothing else. He's won it numerous times, his CV also includes wins in a 9 @ 9 & a Predator Main.
@ibrown74 mostly plays Mini & Mega but by way of a change - perhaps because of the football? - he played the Rebuy BH last night & was rewarded with a fine win.
@kazzaroo11 is in tip-top nick, & after winning Tuesday's 9 @ 9 he took last night's Mega.
Reload went all religious, with @PopeBrian1 the one to blow smoke signals.
@With an alias like @idiot930 he must get shocking abuse in the chat box but he had the last laugh last night, taking down MidEx.
That's about it for today. There's more televised PL football tonight - thanks Amazon Prime - but just 2 games this time. However, one of them features Spurs, so if you want to view it, it's probably listed under "Comedy".
