Welcome everyone, to the 2024 Orfordable League, December Week 4 of 4

If you are not listed on the post below then please post your name/teamname on this thread to register, and thus qualify, to be in with a chance of winning a seat into the Friday 9.30pm £11 BH on January 3rd 2025

This runs every Friday at 7.15pm and is a monthly competition but you only need two scores to be in with a chance of a prize, your best two scores count.

Tournament: Friday Orfordable League- 10 seat Deepstack MTT with 12 min blinds
Time: 7.15pm EVERY FRIDAY
Entry: £3.30
Late reg: 60mins (end of Level 5)

EVERYONE IS WELCOME (bring your friends too)- come along and play in a nice, relaxed and friendly deep structured tourney, with plenty of banter, with the chance of a FREE MTT entry as a bonus.

RULES:
Last date/time for valid entry into The League- end of late reg every Friday
To qualify for a prize you must:-
1) Register your name /teamname on this thread or
2) Be on the AUTOREG list, which will be updated and posted every Friday
3) To win a prize you need at least two scores within the month, of which your lowest two will count as your monthly total
4) In the event of a tie, a countback system is in place, i.e, should two players have a total score of 8 (one with scores of 2 & 6, the other with scores of 3 & 5, the player with a score of 2 would win) , the player with the lowest individual score shall be deemed the winner.
5) Prizes are NON-TRANSFERABLE
6) Players will be automatically entered into the 9.30pm £11 BH on Friday January 3rd 2025

Good morning Orfy folk, I hope that everyone is well. Silly season is here again, and we have a four Friday month to negotiate, on which to end the year. This is December Week 1, so every outcome is still a possibility. Who will be winning the final two prizes of 2024? Anyone care to have a guess on who the two recipients will be? My guess is...I haven't got a clue who it might be, but whomever does finish at the top will deserve their prizes (even though some are luckbox's extraordinaire). Good morning Orfy folk, Week 1 of the Orfy (Advent edition) has been completed. There were 26 players taking tyhe plunge last night, with just 12 being Orfy regged, and of those, 7 made the FT.
Making my 3rd FT in as many appearances (I was MIA last week), I finished in 9th place last night, leaving me in 7th overall.
Making his 3rd consecutive FT @Boxster finished one place higher in 8th last night, he sits in 6th overall, well played Boxy.
A second FT in the last three weeks for @wynne1938 where he finished in 7th place, leving him in 5th place overall, well played Wynne.
A second FT in a row went to @Toffeeandy who finished in 6th place last night, leaving him in 4th overall. A prizewiiner for November, he took 2nd place in last nights' 9.30pm £11 BH, well played Andy.
A first FT of the month went to @bornablade where he finished in 5th place last night, to leave him sitting in 3rd place overall, well played blade.
A third consecutive FT went to @MAXALLY as he finished in 4th place last night, which has him sitting in 2nd overall, well played Alan.
Making his first FT since October Week 3, @weecheez1 finished in 3rd place last night, to leave him sitting at the top of the league, well played cheez.

Good morning Orfy folk, sorry for not posting the results yesterday, this is going to be a short report. There were 34 of us lining up on Friday, 16 of whom are Orfy regged, and, of those, a massive 9 players that made the FT (filling the top nine places to boot). I cannot ever remember so many of us making the FT, excellent play from those who did.
The first four I shall mention are making their first Orfy appearance this month.
A first FT this month for @fredsgirl who took 8th place, for the first half of a FT family double, well played Paula.
Next we have @THECHIMP making his first FT this month in 5th place, well played Mr Chimp.
Also with a first FT this month @goldnballz finished in 4th place, completing the FT family double and grabbing the bragging rights, well played Keith.
Another first FT this month went to @kinematic who took 2nd place on the night, well played kinematic.
A second FT this month went to @Toffeeandy who finished in 9th place, to leave him in 5th overall, well played Andy.
Another first FT of the month went to @THEHERDEIE who finished at the very top in 1st place to leave him in 4th overall, congatulations and very well played Mr Herfeie.
Another with a second FT this month is @Boxster who finished in 6th place to leave him in 3rd overall, well played Boxy.

This is Week 3 (of 4), so there is still time to beat the top two scores of 10, & 12, which are held by our League Leader @wynne1938, and second placed @bornablade. Last week, Orfy regs filled the top nine places, which is something that I do not recall ever happening before, but if anyone does know then please, let me know. Also, this week, could we go one better and fill all ten seats on the FT? That would be a quite extraordinary feat given that unregged players usually outnumber the regs. Good morning Orfy folk. It's tight at the top after December Week 3, with five players within the scores from 7 to 10. There were 25 players taking the start line last night, with 15 being Orfy regged, and, of those, 7 made the FT.
Making his first FT of the month @stokefc finished in 6th place, leaving him in 11th overall, well played Sean,
The virtual FT Wooden Spoon has been awarded again this week, with it going to @goldnballz on account of his second FT of the month and a 10th place finish, and moving up the league by seven places into 7th overall, well played Keith.
Also making a second FT this month @THECHIMP finished in 8th place last night, which elevated him into 6th place overall after a nine place climb, well played Mr Chimp.
Making his third consecutive FT @Toffeeandy took 4th place last night, to leave him in 5th place (on countback) on a score of 10, well played Andy.
Two FT's in a row for @kinematic, where he finished in 7th place last night, saw him jump up ten places into 3rd overall, on a score of 9, well played kinematic.
A second FT of the month with a 5th place last night, has seen @weecheez1 yo-yoing from 1st to 6th and back up into 2nd overall, on a score of 8, well played cheez.
Another to make his third consecutive FT was @bornablade who finished in 2nd place last night, which has palced him in 1st place overall, on a score of 7, well played blade.
With one more week to go, it should be a battle royale next week with so many players in with a very "live" chance of a prize to end this year on. Thank you to everyone who played last night, I hope to see you all again next week, for the last Orfy of 2024.

Good morning Orfy folk, the final results for 2024 are in, and it is all change at the top. Just 22 players tried their skills last noght, 13 of whom are Orfy regged, and of those, 6 made the FT.
Making his first Orfy appearance this month @Angmar2626 only went and took the win last night, congratulations and very well played Angmar.
A second FT of the month went to @fredsgirl who took 7th place last night, which elevated her three places into 10th overall, well played Paula.
Finishing one place higher in 6th last night, @wynne1938 made his third FT of the month, improving his overall score, but falling two places into 6th overall, well played Wynne.
Making his third consecutive FT with a 3rd place last night, @goldnballz secured the home bragging rights by climbing three places into 4th overall (on countback) with a score of 7, well played Keith.
As last week's League leader, @bornablade, was MIA last night, he fell two places to finish the month in 3rd place overall with a score of 7.
Another who was making his third consecutive FT, @kinematic finished in 4th place last night, giving him a total score of 6 and 2nd place overall, well played kinematic.
A second FT for @THEHERDEIE was enough to propel him into 1st place overall, after finishing in 2nd last night, to give an overall score of 3, congratulations on winning the League, and very well played Mr Herdeie.
Both @THEHERDEIE and @kinematic will be entered into next Friday night's 9.30pm £11 BH, best of luck to you both.
