"Traffic returned to normal levels last night after Saturday's football-induced dip.
In the Major, @PokaBayb9took the honours. Only plays £110+ events, & even then only sporadically, but has a great record, from just 300 gamed played has won a £220 UKOPS High Roller, a £110 UKOPS Main, a BWBH & now a Major. @Froozle came oh-so-close to a Major double, as he won it last week & was runner-up last night, as well as 2nd in the Rebuy. Tuesday's Summit winner @JamesPond1 was 5th.
@Andy-M did well to win the Mini, as the other podiumaters were @bakersdoze & @jordz16 both of whom very much know the time of day.
In the £5k BH it was @lyonsbob06who was the last man standing. Has won pretty much everything on Sky Poker including several UKOPS, a Major, and packages to both Las Vegas & Punta Cana.
@obsti had a short but decent session, winning the Rebuy BH & running 5th in the £5k affair.
Mega never ran on Saturday due to the football, but it returned last night & there was a proper dust-up, with SPT winner @chrisdonkb getting the nod over Saturday's Main winner @mrtee, with @NOSTRI 3rd & @aynaricol 6th.
A month to the day since winning the £5k BH @Ramoerrr won Sheriff for the 2nd time this month. Another form-horse, @NChanning was runner-up.
Can't say I'm familiar with @edward1960 but after running 2nd in Thursday's MidEx he went one better last night."
The old English proverb "it’s an ill wind that blows no good" came into play - literally - yesterday, with howling gales across much of the UK, but bad weather is great for online poker & traffic was positively buoyant. With the odd exception of Turbo, everything did well, the highlight being the Main which came in just shy of £7,000. The weather seems to have continued unabated overnight, so maybe good numbers again this evening.
That big Sharpshooter Main went to xy recurring, aka @xyxyxy who has won MidEx more times than enough but I doubt he's ever had a better result than this for which he collected £1,335. Even better, he won his seat in a £7.20 satellite. 2nd was @StayOrGo who collected a very useful £720 for his efforts, easily his best score so far this month. 5th was the in-form @deloresedd who won Thursday's 9 @ 9.
The Mini went to @rainman215 which I suspect was his best score in a very long time.
It's been a while since Sheriff made £1,500,but it was two Sheriff regulars who finished 1-2 in @cabbaz & @Froozle. @MP33 will have been pleased with his day, finishing 4th, having earlier seen PNE grab an early lead at Hillsborough & eventually settle for an honourable point. Always good when a little team grabs a point away at a much bigger club.
@Ewoodsup has not put in much volume in their 2 years here but seems to be getting the hang of things now, having won a Reload in October & adding an £800 BH win last night. Slightly odd alias, & on the off-chance they read this, an explanation would be of interest.
The Rebuy BH went to @sacman698 who has been here forever. The only previous wins of note I can find were two £400 BH's, so this was a decent result as it made £1,650 of which he took home over £300.
Daughters who are growing up way too fast means we don't see as much of @Doooobs as used to be the case but he retains all his ability & on his first session in a week he won Turbo.
If you want a name for the notebook you could do worse than keep an eye on @raisemonst who has been here 2 years but barely played. That all changed last night when he won Quickdraw & ran 3rd in a hot Sheriff. Most certainly one to watch.
Very much an occasional player who mostly sticks to Mega or MidEx, @piggo1 played the latter last night & took 1st place.
@Raptor555 swooped to take the PLO8 with the hat-trick attempt by @dryiceja27 ending in a disappointing 15th place.
One of the 3 seat winners in the Sunday Major freeroll was @DidUdoaPoo not to be confused with Friday's Avenger Main winner @Dogdoodoo. Hmm.
