Who won what, Sunday 8th December. loosecamel gets a deserved win in Major, Tedson takes Sheriff

This day last year
"Numbers were somewhere near expectations I would imagine, with the Main at £6,030 some 5% up y-o-y. The Turbo was right at the top of it's range at £1,740 & everything else did OK.
I was hoping to find an interesting Main event result so that the write-ups could resume in style, but it's a bit of an anti-climax, as I know absolutely zilch about the winner, @taywt. Not on Sharky, never posted on the Forum, all I can find are a handful of small FT's. I have very little info on runner-up @soldierCAB too, except that I can see he won a Mini Major in 2021. An interesting alias though, "Soldier CAB" may well refer to "Combat Action Badge" which the US Army awards to specific servicemen & women who have engaged with the enemy.
@rerouter found the winning way in the Mini after two recent near-misses - 2nd last Wednesday & 20th on Friday. Runner-up was the oddly-aliased @zhshshsh. @MAXALLY won a Free Entry into the Mini & used it well, finishing 6th for £33.48 despite not taking any Bounties. It's his 2nd Mini FT in a month as he was 3rd in a Mini Major on November 12th.
A very competitive Mega went to @Mars58 with all sorts of decent players on the FT including @Curt360x27 @bigfatfish @Drewett @Arrogant & @luckme002. It was one of 3 FT's that @Arrogant made - 5th in Mega, 2nd in Rebuy BH & 3rd in Reload.
Best performing MTT of the night was the £1k Turbo which came in at £1,740. 1st place went to @bigfatfish who was also 5th in MidEx & 3rd in Mega. He did exceptionally well at the weekend's SPT where he made the Final Table, but it was one of those situations where the cards & spots never presented themselves & he mainly just had to sit & suffer as his chip stack slowly dwindled.
Tina aka @karlluke attends most SPT's but failed to qualify for last weekend so was a no-show but she at least partly made up for the disappointment by winning last night's 7 @ 7 with @Trax - "cheers lad" - in 2nd.
Newbie @Charliepop has only been here 6 weeks & enjoyed their first Featured MTT win last night, taking the 9 @ 9. It was in fact their 2nd win in 24 hours as they took down a £100 Turbo BH the previous day. 2nd was @Vertigo who had a thinnish night but he did at least bink a £3.60 Direct Sat to the Main in which he enjoyed a deep run & picked up just over £100. @snoxx11 was 3rd, 24 hours after running 4th in Reload.
December, just 12 days old, has already been wonderful for @Thoich, he won last night's Quickdraw, having already been 1st in a Major & a BWBH, twice 2nd in Mains, 2nd in Sheriff, plus his name has come out of the hat twice in the December Daily Draws."

Those ill winds continued to blow, so MTT numbers were generally robust again, with the surprising exception of the Major which came up £700 shy.
Many congrats to @loosecamel for winning the Major. As far as I can see it was his best ever MTT result here & the first time he's won a Major. Previous notable successes include wins in Summit, Avenger Main & a Sunday night £5k BH & 2nd in a UKOPS Rebuy. He helped himself to a share of the FTJ on one memorable occasion too. He had a really good night actually, & from just 8 MTT's played he ran 4th in a £500 BH, 1st in the Major, 2nd in Mega & 3rd in Turbo. Not an easy Major FT either - are they ever? - including as it did the ferocious Scot @roddy28 @chickdog13 @Rafa888 @91kid15 & @raisemonst who won Quickdraw on Saturday evening.
The Mini went to @THETANK. Has been here virtually since day 1, played 30,000 games, made a steady profit & yet I know nothing about him at all, except that back in the day he had some lovely wins, especially in the 2012 - 2014 period. @ughx3000cx continues to run hot & was 3rd, the Notorious @gobbleoff 5th & @Upswing 6th. Later last night he won a £400 BH too.
I notice that @loololollo has had no luck yet in the Daily Draws but he has more money than enough already, & won a good few bob last night - 1st in the £5k BH, 5th in Turbo, 5th in Quickdraw, & won two seats to the Major. He must be absolutely loaded.
@TEDSON was on site as he often is on a Sunday but had no joy in the Major, he did however win Sheriff from a really hot FT which himself apart included @GSmith13 @MikeyW94 @cabbaz @StayOrGo & of course, serial Sheriff Finalist @NChanning
Having won Mini a week or two ago, @suitnboot had another victory, 9 @ 9 this time.
Very pleased to see @Dogger88 take Reload, he does not play every night but when he does it tends to be just Mini & Reload. Made loads of FT's but don't recall him winning one before.
It seems somehow appropriate that @Awoken won MidEx & as it happens he also won an after-midnight Timed too.
Exactly a week after running 3rd in the £800 BH @guvshergil tried again & got the win this time.
@flopwell had no joy in an early afternoon BH but returned later to 1-table to 1st place in 7 @ 7.
Amongst the Sunday Major Freeroll seat winners were golfer @gixxerk4 @madcal1978 & SPT Brighton finalist @ubeenpwned.
That's it for today, somewhat later than usual. Got stuff happening, 'innit.
Only football of note tonight is West Ham v Wolves for which West Ham were a very tempting 10/11 earlier today but I see the value-hunters have been busy & they are now just 17/20. Still looks good value to me. Anyway, it should not affect poker traffic too much. One hopes...
