I detest people who want to attack Israelis because they are Jewish. What is the difference between that and attacking a country because they are Islamist?

Netanyahu is a lot more a western exceptionalist than 'rampant zionist' if you listen to him speak.
Its really western imperialist territorial expansionism going on, ethno nationalist/ religious fundamentalist groups just get used as proxies, like they always do.
Syrians should have been listened to when they said they wanted Bashar Al Assad as he was preferable to the alternatives when the alternative has turned out be Al Qaeda, but they obviously weren't going to be as western democracy is a lie.
None of this reflects the will of the people who live in the countries who are behind it all.
