Sotheby's is estimating that the tablet will be auctioned for between $1million (£784,895) to $2million (£1,569,790). Richard Austin, Sotheby’s Global Head of Books and Manuscripts, hailed the "remarkable" tablet as both a "important historic artefact" and "tangible link to the beliefs that helped shape Western civilisation.
