last year2 years ago"Lovely & busy again last night with really good numbers across the board, but rather oddly, MidEx missed by a single entry. It's of no import at all, but it is rather odd.
A midweek Main making over £5,000 these days is always a welcome sight, & so it was with Hitman, which went to @GFKIJKLL. 2nd was @OurAndrew who has taken almost a year to play his last 100MTT's (& only 137 in total) but might be a dark horse as i see he won the Sunday night £5k BH in October. There was another interesting runner in 3rd too, @JamesPond1 who won Summit 10 days ago & was 5th in the Major last Sunday. With @mewillows & @Jscorgie in 4th & 5th this looked like a very high class top 5. @Shrimpy28 was 6th.
In the Mini @Rolexdaman showed superb timing to book the win.
There was a lovely 3-2-1 by @bossquaid in the £1k Rebuy BH - 3rd 11 nights ago, 2nd 9 nights ago & 1st last night.
Toughest FT of the evening was arguably Sheriff, which made a handsome £1,650. Top 3 were @Steed432 @Jscorgie & @Natnug and if you can remember a better top 3 you are doing well, and Crushy @loololollo @fishhhhh & @Drewett filled the junior FT spots."

With a top-notch round of CL fixtures including big teams like Arsenal & even little teams like Man City, it was something of a pleasant surprise that overlay only amounted to £232, some 40% of which came from MidEx.
@Han94x won Predator Main & whilst we don't see him in this thread very often it was at least his 4th Main Event win, & in his 7 years here he's always been nicely in profit. 2nd was @wigglytuff with the in-form @ra1d 4th & @wineli 5th.
In yesterday's write-up we - well I - mentioned the "tdc" in @elvistdc11 & nobody picked up on it, either because they had no idea of what I was blathering on about or, far more likely, you were all too busy yawning. Anyway, our tdc man made the Mini FT for the 2nd straight night, & even better, he won it this time. That's what happens when you get your feeler gauges out. Runner-up was @Fabraclass who looked like having a full but thin session until rescuing it at the last minute with a MidEx win. Not many better feelings in poker than being in a hole & then getting out of it.
@ANY_2 took Mega, seems to do OK, & won a 9 @ 9 last month & a Rebuy BH in September.
@Arrogant took the £800 BH, @aynaricol took down 9 @ 9, the PLO8 went the way of @antoinette & so if we add in the Mega BH win by @ANY_2 that means 4 of last night's 13 Featured MTT's were won by aliases starting with an "a". "So what?" you might say, & quite reasonably too, but that's what OCD does for you, & I get zero sympathy. Surely I can't be the only sufferer here? Oh the pain...
@yajuny 1-tables the 7 @ 7 most nights & got the coveted top spot last night, which, as far as I can see, broke his duck.
@Brick123 won the Rebuy BH. Joined us 6 years ago tomorrow & until last month was barely breakeven, but since then it's all changed & he's reeled off a whole bunch of assorted results, including 1st & 3rd in UKOPS Minis,3rd in a Main, 2nd in a UKOPS BH, 1st, 1st & 2nd in the Rebuy BH & 3rd in Quickdraw. Luck, variance, or has he just improved out of recognition? Hopefully the latter, which is always good to see.
Finally, Quickdraw went to @Toadfish1 which I must admit is a newt name to me.
Mote European football tonight, but not much of interest, although it's interesting to see that Chelsea make the 7 hour flight east all the way to Kazakhstan to play what almost amounts to a dead rubber. And in the Women's Champions League there are 4 ties across Europe and the prices of the favourites in those 4 matches are 1/66, 1/40, 2/11 & 1/5. Good to see the Football authorities are on board with climate change.
