"With impeccable timing @Sky__James increased many of the guarantees last night and was rewarded with possibly one of the busiest regular Friday nights of the year.
In a nod back to the good old days, the Avenger came in at £9,480, & fittingly it went to class act @destinycod. He flits about from site to site, live to online, but is a formidable opponent, & he had quite a night, winning the Main, & running 2nd in both Turbo & Quickdraw. Runner-up @anjie1970 has a stellar record on Sky Poker too, though mainly 12 years or more ago. @Doooobs ran 4th, then ran out as the Quickdraw winner later in the evening. He's playing most of the Xmas UKOPS, but has he peaked too soon?
In the Mini another lovely result as the veteran @MacMonster took the win. He loves playing in Nottingham, he was 8th in a UKIPT for £22,000, & won a Sky Poker SPT for over £12,000, both at DTD.
It's been a very long time indeed since BWBH made £5,900, but the recent move to 9pm has been inspired. And in typical fashion, @NChanning chose his time to win it with great care. If he were a racehorse he'd finish down the field in handicaps at Wolverhampton all season then win the Royal Hunt Cup off bottom weight. Great result Neil, that's Christmas sorted.
The new 9 @ 9 made it's 2nd appearance last night & came in at a healthy £1,071. @Tastysnack had been AWOL for 4 days but returned to take it down, and also ran 2nd to @ILIKE2FISH in the Mega.
Lots of other winners I really should mention but it's Saturday & I've already exceeded my time allocation by a long way, so that's it for today."
A very poor night for MTT traffic, with aggregate overlay amounting to £1,149. I suppose Man U live on TNT Sports & Spurs (away to Rangers) live on Comedy Gold, a modicum of missage was expected, but not to that extent.
At least the Main hit guarantee - just - & it was serial big-hitter @newdaddy who took the win, it being the only MTT he played here last night, so P1, W1, & this comes just 2 months after he won the Sunday Major. His best result here was in last years Xmas UKOPS when he won the High Roller for around £4,500. Sharky award him a 97 rating, & you won't find many players on Sky Poker with an equal or better rating than that. No real surprises in the rest of the FT, and it was good to see@lyonsbob06 do well (4th), he's been to both Vegas & Punta Cana with us down the years. One to keep an eye on might be @craigyb22 who was 5th, that's three Main Event FT's in two months for him, the other two resulting in 1st & 3rd place finishes.
@ToddBtook the Mini & ran 4th in 7 @ 7. In the form of his life right now, & in the last 5 nights has finished 2nd, 2nd & 3rd in the Rebuy BH as well as 4th & 5th in the 7 @ 7. 5th in last night's Mini was @cdeeznuts who has barely played in his 3 years here & only returned on Wednesday from a 4 month Sky Poker hiatus.
With just 10 entries & 4 rebuys I doubt there's ever been smaller Sheriff, though it had a quality front three of @cabbaz@ILIKE2FISH& of course @NChanning who is a standing dish in Sheriff.
The £800 BH went to @ACE11683 just 2 days after he was runner-up in the Rebuy BH.
@SPRING29 sprung something of a surprise by winning a Marksman Main in June since when he's been a touch out of form but is back on the winning trail now after taking down last night's Mega.
Turbo went the way of @Rehan2010 so let's hope there's no repeat of the last time he made the Turbo FT on 18th November, finishing 2nd, after which we went missing until 2 nights ago.
@JoseLopez makes the MidEx FT for fun but rarely wins it, but he got the top spot last night despite having to fend off the in form @ughx3000cx heads up.
Have to mention an extraordinary day for @Asho28 who largely confines himself to low stake MTT's & does very well indeed at those stakes with an 83% ROI over a 7,000 game sample size. He could probably do well at higher stakes, but why bother? If you can beat the game at a particular level, & enjoy it, stay there, it's greed that brings about the downfall of most poker players. Anyway, even by his standards he had a great day yesterday, netting FOUR wins - a £300 BH @ 13.30, a £50 Turbo BH 45 minutes later, the £300 Rebuy at 18.15 & then he switched codes & won the 19.18 PLO8. Bravo Asho, little fish are sweet, as the old saying goes.
Other than Sunday Major Freerolls it's been a while since @davidplatt scored but he rectified that last night with a Reload win & then stayed on site until around 6am this morning playing bits & bobs. Talking of David Platt & scoring, the "real" David Platt is someone older football fans - especially Aston Villa fans - will remember with great affection, as in three seasons & 121 appearances for them he scored no less than 50 times & for England 27 goals in 62 appearances - which is ridiculous for a midfielder.
@Asho28 , great night mate, could not agree with @Tikay10 more, always a pleasure and a good game when us low rollers regs meet on the tables. WP.

Cheers @FORDAKIDZ and @Tikay10 , certainly ran hot recently. Great write-up as always.
