"Numbers were "OK", nothing special, but satisfactory. The Main came in at £6,330, which is some 6% down y-o-y.

@podraic took the Main, a year to the very day since he won 9 @ 9. Plays an awful lot of MTT's here, & sits 4th on the 2023 Sharky Sky Poker "Count" table, his numbers boosted by a plethora of satellites. @hhammerhea was 5th, & as he's quite strict with bankroll management & has an ABI of less than a fiver, I assumed he'd won a satellite, but no, he just rocked up, paid in & coasted to 5th like a boss. Old @EBBERDON who is still an SPT regular despite his very considerable age, was 6th.

Talking of senior players, Ian Senior @MacMonster won 7 @ 7 again. I may have the wrong end of the stick here, but my sources tell me Ian was over in Tampa, Florida last month at the Hard Rock & finished 3rd in a $180 Triple Stack for ~$1,530. Incred. Hope it was "our" Ian.

@Lee_Boy took the Mini, which is one of his best results all-time, only beaten by the £630 he collected for running 2nd to @jordz16 in a UKOPS Mini Rebuy 6 or 7 weeks ago.

@Angmar2626 started his session at around 5.15pm & things were not going great until, almost at the last knockings, he took down the 9 @ 9 to ensure a healthy profit on the night. Perfect way to end a sesh. Very decent player, & here's an odd stat about him - his 18 best MTT results on Sky Poker were ALL in 2017 or 2018. Not sure what to make of that, maybe plays smaller stakes these days, or has moved over to cash.

I did want to make special mention of @GFKIJKLL who has been in amazing form during my reporting absence this week. Last night he won Quickdraw for the third time in a week, & in the same period he's also won Turbo, MidEx, Reload & 7 @ 7. Extraordinary consistency. Even more so when we consider that only 25% of his volume is in MTT's, he's mostly a DYM-er where he seems to stick mainly to £10 Turbos.

That'll have to do for today, but I've broken the ice & re-started the write-ups, tomorrow I should be back up to full speed.

An odd night for a Friday, MTT numbers were generally OK, with just £106 of overlay, £100 of which was BWBH coming up one entry shy, but the Main & Mini, whilst both hitting guarantee (just...) were the lowest I can recall for Avengers all year. It can't be down to televised football, as the TV game was Derby v Portsmouth, aka the Bad v the Awful. Not as bad as a 'Spurs game, I grant you, but at least 'Spurs have the comedy effect.

Avenger Main went to @balamar which makers a nice change as it was his 5th or 6th Main Event win but the others were all Sharpshooters. Has won a good few Quickdraws, MidEx's & Sheriffs too. Sharky seem to be a bit mean with his rating, especially given his CV. Runner-up @seager1515 seems to have performed above expectations, especially as the rest of the FT was made up of @roddy28 @HurriKane @91kid15 & @GSmith13 all of whom know the time of day.

@91kid15 won the Mini. Has played very few MTT's here this year but has had some terrific scores on Sky Poker including 1st place in a UKOPS High Roller last Christmas. Plenty of other decent results too, hence his Sharky rating of 94. As he also made the FT of the Main (5th) he collects a handy £500 cash bonus from the FTJ. Runner-up @smackpack is not a player we see often in these threads, but he did win a UKOPS Rebuy back in 2020.

The BWBH FT was as tough as it gets, with the diminutive @MikeyW94 fending off the likes of @Swog @StayOrGo @FlynTimber @lewis1874 & @Granite89. Proper tough FT that.

There was a football theme to the winners of the £800 BH & Rebuy BH with @Superhoops (QPR) winning the opener, & @Rovers1875 (which I assume refers to Blackburn Rovers) taking down the Rebuy BH.

Bit of an odd result in 9 @ 9 which went to @fffgggfddd as he only joined us yesterday & this was his first ever (& only so far) MTT. Later he played a couple of tenner DYM's, winning one. No idea what that alias might represent. Perhaps he's somewhat aggressively begging an opponent to fold.

Mega went to @sam1234 who has some enormous scores on his CV, including almost £6,000 for being 2nd in one of those "SPT' Online" things we had during COVID, & £4,200 for winning a UKOPS Rebuy 6 months later.

@gogogadget who has won Mega half a dozen times won MidEx by way of a change. CV includes two Main Event wins (Gold Rush & Sharpshooter) & a Mini Avenger.

The PLO8 went to @ScottyKaye who in the last few weeks has done well in it, with finishing positions of 1st, 2nd, 2nd & 3rd.
