"Need to be quite brief today, things to do.
Numbers were OK last night. Hard to compare realistically with this day last year though - the Main was 8% DOWN y-o-y, whereas Summit was 21% UP yo-o-y. Confuseaments.
Our Gold Rush Main winner was @Hookie68 but there's very little I can tell you about them, except that they've been here 10 years & have somehow managed to escape a single mention in these threads. Blocked on Sharky & no Forum Posts either. 2nd was @kinematic which is rather pleasing as he won his entry in the Monday night FTT, & 2nd place last night was worth a very handy £538, which is a decent return for a freebie won by playing three MTT's which are reg-fee free. @Wacko90 paid one of his increasingly rare visits to Sky Poker & was 6th.
@bigfatfish had a very solid sesh. Headline was winning the Mini, but he also won a £300 TBH, was 2nd in the Rebuy BH, 4th in a £200 TBH & 5th in MidEx. And if that was not enough, he finished the session with a win Streak of 8 at £10 & £20 Turbo DYM's. 2nd was @Itsover4u who has had a good month, which includes 1st & 2nd in Avenger Main & 2nd in BWBH.
The opener went to @UnEuropean who has only recently returned from a Sky Poker sabbatical. Seems better than ever & is in sparkling form having won the £1k BH, Mega & Reload, all within the last week.
Mega went the way of crusty old @ctbn, with @NChanning 3rd & @chrisdonkb 4th.
@AndyBlack9 took Summit. He has an ABI of £94 which is quite something and despite just 186 MTT's here has a decent results portfolio, the best of which was winning the 2022 Autumn UKOPS Main for over £10,000.
There was an odd symmetry in the aliases of the winning players in 9 @ 9 & Reload, who were, respectively, @CU180 & @cp180.

Happy memories were evoked when I saw the result of the PLO8, with @weecheez1 1st & @Enut 4th. Had some great games with both of them, who are proper poker players who take their beats like adults."

Monday's are generally a poor night, aided & abetted by MNF on Sky Sports (Bournemouth v West Ham last night), so a modicum of Overlay was probably expected by the Management Team at Sky Towers, although whether they expected it to be £754 is another matter. Moving swiftly on, then...
An interesting winner of the Main in @MattyLG who joined us around 6 weeks ago since when he's played zero cash, 490 DYM's but just 7 MTT's, breaking his MTT duck in fine style last night by winning Marksman Main. I have a hunch that Matty may well be playing more MTT's in future. In 6th was a Stoke-based player many of you know from the "Live" scene, @TIMBER & on Sunday night I was fortunate to spend several very enjoyable hours sat next to him in a Bounty comp at DTD. One of those odd Bounty situations arose whereby he tangled with another player, beat him, & the other player was left with fumes. I then finished the job & so got the £50 Bounty. Sorry about that Carl, but was great to chat & chill for a few hours, & I hope your football bet got home.
The Mini went to @leveler58 who in 837 previous MTT's has only had one mention in these threads, when he ran 6th in a March 2022 Mini Gold Rush. @SnakeyLake generally 1-tables the Reload most nights but must have fancied a change last night as he played the Mini instead, & it worked out a treat as he ran 2nd for £160. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together like that?
The opening £800 BH went to @jonnio who has been here since 2009 without making too many waves but is steadily profitable by the looks of it. Was a good evening for him as later on he ran 3rd in a little £150 BH.
Next up was the 7 @ 7 which was won by @jackarmie who was playing his first MTT session since 19th July 2022, some 29 months ago. Welcome back @jackarmie, what kept you?
@SLANLEAT has been doing OK of late, winning the £800 BH in August & 7 @ 7 last month, & completed the early evening hat-trick last night by winning the Rebuy BH.
@EJB02 won Reload, their first decent win in many a moon as far as I can see, & also ran deep in the Rewards Freeroll.
A good night for the Usual Suspects who you all know all there is to know already, but congrats to them all - @chkngeorge @Steed432 @bakersdoze @Curt360x27 @seikus & @Hod4k997.
The UKOPS Rewards Freerolls began last night, with High Roller seats going to @shawsok & @ReaperA. Amongst the winners of a £110 UKOPS 03 seat seat were @diamondlee who mostly frequents £2, £3 & £5 stuff, so playing a £110 biggie will be quite an occasion, & I really hope it goes well.
