This day last year
"Traffic was surprisingly quiet last night. Liverpool v West Ham was on TV, but little else, so I don't think football can take all the blame. This day last year the Main came in at £5,550, last night over £1,000 less at £4,500. I'm sure the Suits understand, but I'm not sure I do.
@jakescol took the Main. Not exactly high volume, it's taken almost 6 months to play his last 100 MTT's, but has a great CV, which includes wins in Avenger Main (twice), BWBH, a £10k BH, £5k BH, & at least two UKOPS. Average ROI (as measured by Sharky) is almost 50%, over a 4,000 sample size. There was a remarkable performance in 3rd which went to our old mate @weecheez1. Just 24 hours earlier he won the nightly "big" PLO8. Proper all-rounder is Cheezy.
Most pleasing result of the night was the Mini which went to @mumsie who does so much Community stuff here. It was the 2nd time he's won a Mini, & his third best result all-time, beaten only by wins in a Rebuy BH earlier this year & a 2020 £750 Mega. 2nd was @Lee_Boy who won Saturday's Mini. Must have been a fun FT as in addition to @mumsie @bromley04 was 4th with @tomgoodun 5th. Bravo chaps.
@Curt360x27 is in fine form, and after winning Monday's Main, took last night's Turbo, was 3rd in Reload & 6th in 9 @ 9, as well as a deep run in the Main.
Reload saw a bit of a surprise, as @Tyeaye8 took the win. Been here 3 years but barely played - just 11 MTT's & 1 DYM - & this was their maiden win.
The PLO8 went to @penguin7 who has been with us since way back in 2007 & used to be - maybe still is - one of the better PLO8 players on the site. Decent at NLH too, he came to Vegas with us in 2010 & had a very decent run in the $10,000 WSOP Main.
Exactly a week ago @MURPHY1427 bricked the Mega & was not seen again until last night when he played it again & took the win.
An even longer absence for the £1k BH winner @buzzboi , last seen 4th November until popping up last night."

A so-so night for MTT traffic, with some £672 of overlay although that's a little misleading in a way, as £500 came from Summit, so that apart, most stuff performed OK, including, it was good to see, the Mini.
Amazing scenes in Gold Rush Main as @SaulGodman played for the very first time on Sky Poker at around 7pm last night, playing a total of 5 MTT's & 1 satellite, & in doing so, won a Main Event at the very first time of asking. What were the chances of that? And that's a terrific alias, presumably a nod to the excellent Breaking Bad spin off Better Call Saul.
Runner-up @4kingboss is in great form, having won Reload 3 nights earlier & run 3rd in Monday's 9 @ 9. @zzgoose won his seat in a £1.80 All-In satellite that finished at around 20.25 & went home with £273 for finishing 3rd. A similar story for @SPRING29 who took £282 for 5th. @DUTCHESS62 has been mostly MIA this month, just 4 MTT's this month & only 1 last night, but it was rewarded with a 6th place finish.
In the Mini @woebegone assaulted & insulted everyone alike (including of course Sky Poker) on his way to 1st place. I'm not at all sure I understand why some players can become so exercised over a fiver MTT, but it's not uncommon these days. I've been around the block a few times & I'm not completely daft, but why anyone would or could get so uppity in a bowl comp is a complete mystery. It's just a game lads, it costs about the same as a pint of beer or a couple of coffees, just enjoy it. Meh.
Fair to say that @chkngeorge has completed the transition to bigger buy-in MTT's successfully, & last night he won Summit from a very strong FT which included @Sharki0 @NChanning @Natnug @Hoff92 & @Steed432.
@Natnug played a full schedule & had a very busy night. In addition to 4th in Summit, he won the Turbo, was 4th in Quickdraw, 2nd in a £500 BH, 6th in a £300 Rebuy & won a £250 Timed. Between 6pm & Midnight he played 28 games, so I shudder to think how many tables he had open at peak times.
Very pleased to see @jayprice24 win 7 @ 7. Mainly playing DYM's, this was their first MTT for a month & only 8th in 5 months. Most pleasing of all was that it was his biggest win in his 6 years here, although fair to say 85% of his action is in DYM's.
The Rebuy BH went to @millys who ran 2nd in a Marksman Main this time last month.
@KINGKEN914 seems to only play the 9 @ 9 and until winning it last night best recent result was 2nd in it to @bigfatfish in late October. Ken will feel pleased with himself this morning, & quite right too.
@loosecamel is in tremendous form & managed a win double last night, Mega & Quickdraw. This month alone (which is barely half complete) he's won a Sunday Major, 2 Quickdraws, a Mega & a Sheriff. His Sharky graph has been completely transformed & it it gets any more vertical it'll fall over.
@DONMANN is a PLO8 regular but has not played for 4 nights until showing up last night & winning the 19.18.
@Mumfdog won Reload as well as a Sunday Major seat in the Freeroll. Another of the Major seats went to @SUPERNOVA who I think is a personal friend of mine, although it may just be a duplicate alias from another site. Was that you Shaz?
That's about it. Some wonderful football on TV this evening, so a bad night in prospect for Sky Poker. Help yourself, there'll be overlay all over the shop.
