Who won what, Wednesday 18th December. Main goes to millys, & we see some interesting winners

"Probably the busiest night of the week so far, even though the Main only made £5,370 compared to £6,060 this day last year.

It was the toughest of FT's for Hitman Main with old hand @TONY509 eventually prevailing. Some FT though, with @Curt360x27 in 2nd place, he's had quite a week, winning Monday's Main & Tuesday's Turbo. 3rd was the ultra-prolific @AlexaAJ who was also 4th in 7 @ 7, 9th in the Mini, 4th in Mega, 2nd in a £300 BH & 5th in a £500 BH. @NChanning was 4th, flying one spot higher than Cathay Pacific pilot @boggo, with @SPRING29 in 6th.

@funtime69 usually plays the Mini - & nothing else - every night, but has been AWOL for a week until showing up last night & bagging top spot.

@glynners has been missing most of this month but has returned in fine style the last 48 hours, 4th in Wednesday's Predator Main & then winning last night's 7 @ 7.

@sjl1973 took MidEx, & will be playing the Major on Sunday, having won a seat in the nightly Freeroll earlier this week. Could well run deep in Sunday's Major as he has some solid form in the book including wins in a £110 BWBH & a two time Hitman Main winner.

Mega went to @Damon8 who was 4th in Sunday's Mini Major. Has a stellar record in weekday Mains, having won them 7 times, including Sharpshooter no less than 4 times.

More good news for @mumsie, who, having won Wednesday's Mini, followed up last night by winning a UKOPS Main Event seat in the UKOPS Rewards Freeroll.

We saw an excellent & very unusual double, with @Upswing taking both 9 @ 9 & Reload. Seems to be improving at a rate of knots, & only recently had a lifetime best when 2nd in an Autumn UKOPS Rebuy, & was also 2nd in a Gold Rush Main exactly a month ago.

A double of a different kind for @TIMBER who won Quickdraw for the 2nd straight night. Here's @TIMBER in action at a Manchester SPT a while back, he's in the blue hoody, with the serious looking pair of @NChanning & @pompeynic sat to his immediate right."

Three glorious football matches on TV was always going to be a problem & so overlay across the featured games at £817 was no great surprise, though Quickdraw contributed £380 of that which I was somewhat startled by. FWIW, Predator Main came in at a similar number to this day last year, although the Guarantee is £4k this year, last year it was £5k.

What a great few days it's been for @millys who won the £5k BH on Sunday, the Rebuy BH on Tuesday, & then took down last night's Main. In between those 3 victories, he played a brace of £100 Heads Up games, winning both. Seems to be nicely profitable at all disciplines. Runner-up last night was none other than onandonandonandon @HAYSIE. Incidentally, @HAYSIE was very late reporting for Forum Duty today, & has yet to proffer an acceptable excuse. 5th was @snoxx11 who also ran 2nd in two BH's, one a £400, the other a £300, so a solid night for Snoxxy.

The Mini went to @Sharki0 who you should know all about by now. A very fine & much-improved performance saw @weetoad finish 2nd, the same position they occupied in Monday's Quickdraw. A good effort too by @skyekick06 who was 3rd, having been 6th in Tuesday's Rebuy BH.

@utang continues to impress & came up with 2 wins last night, taking the back-to-back Turbo & Quickdraw. He seems to do spectacularly well in both, by my reckoning he's won Turbo 13 times & Quickdraw 8 times.

A thinly but keenly contested Sheriff went to @wineli. 2nd was Mini winner @Sharki0 who also ran 3rd in the Rebuy BH & 4th in Turbo, so he had a decent session overall.

In the £800 BH @port30 docked in 1st place. Except for around 20 games, has been largely absent from MTT's since 2022. Prior to his hiatus had some solid results, including wins in a 2018 Marksman Main & a 2022 Sharpshooter Mini.

7 @ 7 went to @spearsy136 who seems to grind out plenty of results & in addition to 1st in 7 @ 7 he made 4 other FT's last night, finishing 2nd, 2nd, 4th & 4th. Does very well indeed whilst remaining largely under the radar, & has a spectacular 64% ROI over a 13,500 sample size. A much underrated player who would do well at higher stakes but is content to crush his preferred stakes. Very wise, as it's greed that is our enemy in poker. Find a stake you can beat & stick to it imo, poker is so much more fun that way & you don't become one of those "I'm so unlucky" crashing bores.

@cptnck won his first "proper" MTT in taking the Rebuy BH. Mainly a cash player really, been with us 18 months but barely played any MTT's this year & less than 100 in total. Best score prior to last night was ~£40 for 8th in a Mini Major in February, so £252 last night was far & away his best ever score.

A quite odd result in Mega which went to @rodneys1 who 1-tabled to 1st place. This was his first MTT in 8 months, though he's a busy cash player, in fact 98.5% (not an exaggeration, that's an exact %) of his play is in cash games, so maybe he fancied a change last night.

@ughx3000cx won again, 9 @ 9 this time, I make that 8 wins so far this month, and he does particularly well in that £400 BH that starts at 21.30, which he's won 3 times this month alone.

It had been a month & a day since @Panda1994 last played an MTT here but he popped up last night & won MidEx, the only MTT he played.

A hat-trick of wins yesterday for @Chalky666 who has been at the last few Brighton SPT's & has generally enlivened his tables with his bants. He began by taking down a £100 Rebuy, then a £300 BH & for an encore won Reload. Has some lovely results on his CV back in the day, including a 2018 UKOPS win, & a trio of weeknight Main Event wins in 2017, 2019 & 2022. EDIT - And in late news, his name came out of the hat in today's Daily Draw.
