So this really annoyed me
So I decided to pick a phone game just to mess around with over the christmas period. Now in the world chat in this game these weird people go on praising allah and saying how great Allah is.
So I started of saying how ridicolous this is and then got into the usual debate of the evil of ****. Pretty much the same criticisms apply to Islam that apply to Christianity its the same god arguably after all.
They however seriously think a being capable of creating the entire universe and knowing everything will be glad to get praise on the chat of a mobile game. I mean how vain and pathetic.
then they did something which I have experienced multiple times when debating with muslims which in fairness I have yet to experience when debating with Christians. They called me racist tried to contact my alliance leader to get me booted from that alliance and tried to complain to the game admins.
They argued that there are 1 billion Muslims in the world and this is offensive to them all (disagreeing with them and criticising the faith they preech) so is racist.
Like how does that work I said nothing about ethnicity.
If you allow this line then evolution is now banned speech because that is offensive to many muslims, and before you try to say I am being hyperbolic I have literally had that said to me and being told to shut up about evolution because its offensive to Muslims. for context I wasn't even talking about Religion or islam at that point I was discussing something I didn't understand about human behaviour and hypothesising that maybe its linked to human evolution. My idea there may have been wrong it may have been right but it had nothing to do Islam except maybe the idea of evolution itself is seen by some as a challenge to the idea of Islam.
So now if 1 billion people strongly believe that the world is flat is it racist to suggest that the world is round?
I can get that religion can be tied to ethnicity based on where people are born or families they are born into and etc, however that cannot then justify the position that criticising a truth claim is racist.
I am ethnically Jewish and that is a thing, because technically by the Jewish faith you can only be Jewish if your born into a Jewish family or if you want to convert you have to live with and serve a Rabbi for seven years I believe it is. There are people who recongise me as a Jew by physical appearence before I have said anything.
However if someone criticises the Jewish religion I do not percieve this as racist, the Jewish faith is a truth claim again and to be fair there are a lot of fair criticisms of the Jewish faith like all religions it does not mean one hates all jews etc.
If we decide that criticising religion is now racist we have brought back blasphemy laws and can welcome in a new dark age.

Lets fact check here.
If the 1 billion people who claimed the world was flat were all from the same race then possibly it would be a racist thing, you'd need to check with the hurty words police.
Criticising the Muslim Faith is not in itself racist, how can it be there are Muslims from every race of people, just as there are Christians from every race.
I think you have often called out people for anti semitism so tone down the "I don't call people for criticising the Jewish faith".
All faiths are a "truth claim", with the exception of Buddhism and possibly Taoism.
However, all this does is point out that much of your trouble is brought upon yourself. Why did you feel the need to try and argue / debate a point that is inflamatory at best and downright dangerous at worst.
I genuinely wish you a happy and peaceful New Year, but something tells me it ain't gonna be so.
Oh by the way evolution is offensive to many Christians as well, but hey let it slide eh, goodwill to all men etc.
