She doesn't just "scrimp". She gets these fees paid via Benefits.

She earns just over £1,000 a month. Her rent is £720 per month. Her child's school fees are just under £300 a month. That is all her salary gone. Still leaving food, utilities, Council Tax and everything else.

School fees are a luxury item. To pretend otherwise is plain ridiculous. Even food has VAT on the "luxuries"-like sweets, crisps, beer, takeaways.

Why does this woman receive benefits when she has a spare £300 a month on luxuries?

PS. It is not a "tax raid". It is plugging the loophole that is a tax break for the wealthy. And the entitled.

She has a worse argument than the farmers.

Sending your child to private school doesn't say much these days, a lot of them turn oot loonies and try to run the government.
