"Well well, sparking numbers again last night. I want this week to go on forever. The £6k Sharpshooter made a very handsome £7,860, but there were plenty of similar examples, including £1,650 for the £1k Rebuy, £1,750 for the £1k Sheriff, £1,951 for the £1,500 Reload & £1,520 for the £1k Quickdraw. That new £500 BH had it's best numbers yet too, making a surprising £860.

@redeyedryu took the Main for the 2nd time, having won Gold Rush a few years ago. Last night's result was their 3rd best lifetime, beaten only 3rd in a UKOPS High Roller & 2nd in a Major, both of which were in December 2021. @Neilio123 who only seems to play Main Events but has not been seen since 21st December, was 3rd. The ever-popular @Gingerkid was 4th, with @jawzindawz 5th & @rspca12 6th.

@scooby78 has not been seen in the MTT streets for over 2 months but returned last night in triumph, winning the Mini. A great effort in 2nd by @HOLLYWHIT.

Similar story for @trinderoo who made a first appearance since 21st December a winning one in the Rebuy BH.

It seemed to have been a good night for returnees, @jessjenn was another, not seen since 18th November until showing up last night & binking Quickdraw.

There was a lovely 24 hour win double for @NOSTRI who having won Friday's £1k Rebuy followed up by winning last night's £500 BH, the new one that was introduced earlier this week.

On Friday @Natnug returned from a short New Year's break & last night he was starting to find his feet, winning MidEx & a £500 BH, 2nd in 7 @ 7 & 2nd in a £150 Timed.

The £1k BH went to @leemolfc who was last spotted winning Avenger Main in October.

@Hod4k997 has begun 2024 in great form, & technically had three wins yesterday, starting with Friday's (Saturday really...) MidEx, then 7 @ 7 followed by a £500 BH, was also 4th in 9 @ 9.

Sheriff went to @SwannLoL who then ran 3rd in Turbo. 2nd in Sheriff, & making their 2024 debut was @KRISPIN. 3rd was @NChanning who earlier had been 2nd in a £500 BH & 7th in Mega. He seems to be in fine form at present.

@clubber34 is a low volume 1-tabler who seems to like playing Reload, was 3rd in it a few weeks back & 1st last night.

Morning.

Continuing this week's remarkable trend, MTT Traffic was very good indeed again last night. Zero overlay & really solid numbers right across the board, with the highlights being the £6k Avenger Main (£8,280), £4k BWBH (£5,300) & £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,760).

Winner of that lovely big Avenger was @Jessieak so no surprise there, ditto @roddy28 in 4th. Fine effort in 2nd by @alexoh who you may recall won UKOPS 23 last Sunday. In 3rd was @soapisback (anyone care to explain that alias?) who is highly rated on Sharky but has played just 56 MTT's here as he is mainly a cash game player. In fact last night was is first MTT here for over a month & only his 8th in 5 months.

@glynners took the Mini. His usual routine is an 0830 MTT then 7 @ 7, at which he does particularly well, but last night he changed his routine & played 7 @ 7 (no good) & Mini which he won. 2nd was @EatSlpPly which was his best score for almost a year, only just behind what he won for 7th in a Stack Builder Freeroll. Those with retentive memories may remember him from 2014 when he had a string of big scores in a 4 month spell, including two nice wins, plus 3rd in a Super Roller & 4th in PRIMO. In 6th was none other than @HAYSIE which means he's made 2 Mini FT's in 3 nights. What a pain he must be to sit next to, & in so many different ways.

I'll not go into much detail about BWBH as we'd be going over old ground, but I will say this - did you ever see a tougher FT on Sky Poker? And if they played that final 6 times there's every chance of 6 different winners;

The spread of Sharky rating amongst that little bunch goes from 85 to 97, with an average of 89.9. Proper players.

The £800 BH fell to @DELDAVE who plays a good bit of cash but seems to do better on the rare occasions he ventures across to the MTT streets.

@bumski03 registered his first significant win since late 2023 in taking the Rebuy BH, in fact that was his previous win too.

A player to look out for in 2025 is @ughx3000cx who had another good night, winning Mega & 2nd in Reload & that follows his efforts the previous night when he notched up 2 wins - 9 @9 & a £400 BH. So, 3 wins & a 2nd by 3rd January. Most impressive.

Another who has started 2025 well is my old mate @eon1961 who had two wins last night, 9 @ 9 & a £300 BH. He'd much rather play PLO8 if there were enough traffic, but sadly that's not the case so he's reverted to the 2 card game. I know the feeling, it's a bit sad but it is what it is, like Eon I seem to get by OK.

No surprise to see @destinycod get 2025 off to a flyer, last night he won Turbo & was 6th in Quickdraw, while 2 days earlier on Wednesday he won Quickdraw & was 2nd in the Main. A formidable opponent when he takes the game seriously. And an even formidabler one when he doesn't.

@Jazzydog playing an MTT for the first time in a week broke his 2025 duck in fine style by winning MidEx.
