    That Judge appears to me to be exceeding his authority.

    Mr Giuliani is claiming various reasons why he feels he cannot attend. None of those reasons are that he has been unable to leave his home for the last 30 days.

    It would have been open to the Judge to ask for detailed medical evidence in support. But to provide this sort of threat is, IMHO, inappropriate, and (to an amateur from the legal perspective) leaving this Judge open to accusations of bias.

    He is playing to the gallery.
