Traffic was reasonable enough last night, & everything covered Guarantee, most of the time with a good bit to spare. It was particularly good to see the three FTT's have their best week in a very long time indeed.
The Main went to @Uarebumboy an alias which I expect seemed quite funny when they first signed up, although I can't help but wonder if it's one of those things like a tattoo across your forehead, where the novelty soon wears off & one soon thinks "wtf?" Signed up in the Spring of 2022 & tried to win an SPT Glasgow seat, and has not been seen since until this month. Only 22 MTT's in total, & this was their first win, & in fact first FT too. Well done Mr, err, Boy. Quite a strong FT which included @newdaddy(2nd) @cabbaz(4th) & @loololollo(5th). lool was also 4th in 7 @ 7, 6th in the new £500 BH, & won his Main event seat in a £7.20 satty.
Playing for only the 2nd time since December 23rd, @choco_wall won the Mini. I can't trace any previous wins, though has min-cashed three times in the Mini Major. 2nd was @memo142 - worth noting - with @HHACKNEY 3rd, followed by @thisltedu@bromley04 & @hhammerhea 6th. As Minis go, quite a strong FT.
@tonyp142 put a big shift in and was well-rewarded, two wins (£1k Rebuy BH & Sheriff), plus 2nd in the new £500 BH & 5th in Reload. That Sheriff FT was a corker, with @tonyp142 being followed home by @Natnug@destinycod@NChanning@Thoich& @cabbaz, in that order.
We had another double winner too, with @Super_Oliwho also put in a proper shift, but had to wait until winning the Turbo for a return, & then quickly followed up with 1st in MidEx. He's wonderfully fresh-faced & youthful looking, in fact he puts me in mind of the late Princess Diana.
In the £1k BH the 1-2 was @ctbn & @RogueCellwho have met many times at Sky Poker Live events. Those two on the same table probably make for an interesting line in table bants. Just 48 hours after running 2nd in Saturday's Sharpy Main for ~£800, @jeni82was 3rd.
@Bryndog who only re-surfaced last week after a 5 month MTT absence.
Well the weather has warmed up a smidge but it's still most inclement, so the MTT traffic heater continued last night. For the last 2 days I've done a little summary of the best performing Featured MTT's so I won't bore you to death with another, but do please have a look at the numbers, they really were quite exceptional. At some stage they will be bettered - I promise you - but I'd be very surprised if it was in the next 6 months or so, especially as this cold snap appears to be over now. Tonight won't be too bad though, the only domestic televised football is a nonsense FA Cup Tie between two non-entities.
The Major made £12,600 - despite the absence again of all-In sats - & it was @PowerPok3r who powered to the win. He pretty much only plays £110 events as can be seen by his last 40 MTT's here - two were £220 UKOPS affairs, 37 were £110 events & there was one £22 Avenger. He's now had 14 podium finishes in the Major - 1st 5 times, 2nd 5 times & 3rd 3 times. 2nd was our very own @NChanningand he also finished 6th in Sheriff. Not sure if anyone gets to as many Sheriff FT's as Neil does, the structure must really suit him. 3rd & 5th respectively were @loosecamel (who later won Quickdraw) & @PokaBayb9 so no real surprises there. An interesting one in 4th, @CharDogwho joined us in August & has almost exclusively played cash games, with just 10 MTT's so far. However, has made 3 deep runs in the last week - 7th in last Sunday's Major, 3rd in Tuesday's Summit & 4th in last night's Major. Playing just his 2nd MTT this year, @MarcScot was 6th. @eon1961 got in via the Sunday Major Freeroll & was 10th for £220.50, whilst another not-so-golden oldie @HAYSIE was 15th for the same amount.
A really tough Mini Major went to dear old @SoLack ahead of the mighty @Tedson in 2nd & @Natnug in 5th. If @Tedson & @Natnuug played an identical number of the same MTT's I wonder who'd come out on top in the long-term?
It was not really a night for surprise winners & the £5k BH was along the same lines with a fairly predictable FT headed by @grindddfollowed by four of Sky Poker's Great & Good, plus one interloper in 5th, @Shrimpy28. In fact Shrimps also made the Mega FT, finishing 2nd, which would have cheered him up after the bitter disappointment of Arsenal's defeat a few hours earlier.
When I hear the term "heroes" attributed to poker players I want to puke, but that's not to say there are not poker players I much admire, & two in particular are @LittleGJ& @spearsy136 who won the £800 BH & 7 @ 7 respectively. Both have found a level they know they can beat & stay in their own lane, & just gradually accumulate good profits &, more importantly, great satisfaction. Maybe they could beat the game at higher levels but greed is the enemy of every gambler & it very often pays to be self-critical & recognize one's limitations. At ABI's close to a fiver, both have recorded profits in excess of £50,000 & I note that @spearsy136 has a ROI in excess of 50%. Stunning.
Many congrats to @Balamar who won Sheriff, which means he's now won it THREE times already in 2025 - 1st Jan, 6th Jan & 12th Jan.
Exactly a week after winning both 7 @ 7 & Mini Major on the same night, @Retro__iG had another Sunday session win double, taking a £300 BH as well as the Rebuy BH. He also made two other £300 BH FT's, finishing 4th & 6th. ,,
24 hours after winning that big Sharpshooter Main @Jscorgie followed up with 1st place in Turbo.
All the way back in 2020 @Turnock90 was runner-up in two Minis - one was a UKOPS - a month apart but we've not seen him in these threads since until he came good last night with a 9 @ 9 victory.
A week ago @smith1408 showed much-improved form to run 11th in the Sunday Major & he showed it was no fluke by winning last night's MidEx from MidEx standing dish @jas69 .
Reload went to @hhammerhea for at least the 28th (TWENTY EIGHTH) time. PS - That's not a typo although I may have lost count along the line somewhere. Another player who stays in his own lane & prints.

Ha, so THAT is what your alias is attributed to. I never once realised that in all those years.
I thought it was a bit optimistic hoping to get a bite from a Dag & Red fan, given how few there are.
Seriously, VBOL tonight. Have they got a new Manager yet? If not, I hear Loppy (Lopeteugi) is available...
