So we hadn't been back to our property for nearly a month, and letting agency in contact to say a neighbour had been in contact expressing concern as it seemed they hadnt noticed us for some time.
Right we had some urgent issues pop up around christmas new year etc (cant go into details as involves other people who dont want details on a public forum, we just been helping someone who is not in a good situation wont say more then that) which kept us back, we are not obligated to be in the property at all times. So now he complains when we are to quite as well as too loud?
Should I like ring his doorbell and ask to specify the exact decibels of sound he would like coming from my property at all times?

A neighbour has wanted to check you are OK.
And you feel this warrants a complaint about him?
maybe they had the right intentions I dont know for sure.
I'm ok friend isn't but like I said cant go into those details here, the neighbour we have had issues with before does not strike me as a caring person so if it was him I cant help but feel there was some nefarious purpose behind this but cant work out what.
There is a quite plausible scenario where you had both become unwell & were in urgent need of a good neighbour to check if you were OK or send for a Doctor or an Ambulance....
"maybe they had the right intentions I dont know for sure."
It would be a waste of time trying to give you well-intentioned advice, but as a general rule, I'd always give this person the benefit of the doubt in this situation, especially as you say you "don't know for sure". One day you may just need them..,.
I have been ill recently as has my partner I cant say it is or is not covid but the wipe out has been similiar we ran out of covid tests.
I wouldnt say there is a threat to life though. I am on the mend I cant see exact state of my partner as she stayed back to help with the situation so right now I am by myself and likely so for a few weeks. It could be a day or two but most likely a few weeks.
