I can't get on to the site (properly)...

Hi folks.

I'm not sure what the issue is but for the last few days whenever I try to log on to Sky Poker - whether it is from my phone or my laptop - I get this screen:



I can't get in through the other Sky tabs either (Sky Bet, Sky Sports, Sky Vegas, etc). The only access I seem to have (and even then it is only to the forum; I can't access any games whatsoever) is when I Googled and came here via a thread and backtracked to the main forum page.

I really have no idea what is going on. At first I thought it was scheduled maintenance, but that's obviously not the case.

I can't even get on to see who placed in the games the night before for The Main and Mini Leaderboard, so I'm having to rely on @Tikay10 to send me the results in a message.

Does anybody have any clue as to what I can do?

Hi @Slipwater I dunno for sure, but perhaps we can narrow it down enough to find a solution.

I dont recognise the logo on the browser you are using?

And clear the cache of the browser, Im thinking your being directed to a broken link and we need to clear this link.

Yeah, I've tried that, but when I try to access Sky Poker after that it still gives me that same page.

You need to delete everything otherwise it will bring up your previous pages, and then reload Edge

I just did that, shut down my laptop and tried again... still the same. But it's also happening on my phone - wouldn't that mean it isn't browser or cookie related?

...obviously I'm not the most tech savvy person here!

Are u using or someone using some software, maybe it thinks u are outside the UK. Try shutting down your router wait 3 minutes and reboot it. Sometimes strange things can happen .

I live in Ireland and get that now and again!

Have you tried another browser, say, download chrome and access sky poker from there, see if that works.

I just downloaded Firefox and tried it, but got the same screen.

I'll try the switch-it-off-and-switch-it-back-on-again trick.

Have you got popups blocked?

I did have them blocked. Just turned that setting off to see if it made a difference, but no.

And the rebooting the router didn't work either.

Okay, I was curious if it was the new login page, as there is is a bug that can put you in a loop where it doesnt let you log in.

Just tried it with both - same deal.

If you can get the mobile site for skypoker to work on Edge, you can step back to the normal site staying logged in.

Try this.



Open the skypoker in Edge.
Press F12 to open Developer Tools.
Click on the "Device Emulation" icon (or press Ctrl + Shift + M).
Select a mobile device from the dropdown list.
Refresh the page.

(I got these instructions from ChatGPT as I dont have edge on my PC)
