"Nice & busy last night, especially the late evening stuff. The exception was the new PLO jobbie which fell a few entries shy, despite a whole lot of noise about it on the Forum. Bit disappointing, but maybe it'll do better next week. And if it fails, so be it, better to have tried & failed & all that.


Anyway, it' Sunday, so a quick rattle through.

@jedinemo took the Main & with it 18 Head Prizes, so over 10% of the field. Has plenty of wins down the years in most of the Featured MTT's.

@Froozle missed all the early stuff but logged on at about 21.30 & late-regged for the Mini & went on to take it down. MBN.

It's been the best part of 3 months since @slickpoker played an MTT here but they showed up last night & took down the Mega, in which @claudel9 was 3rd & @tomgoodun 5th. That was a decent result for Tom as he won his seat in a £1.20 All-In satellite so a nice bit of profit.

Sheriff came in at £1,700, well above it's run-rate, & it was a great performance by @Richie_L to fend off @NChanning @destinycod @Curt360x27 @Ironpump1 & @tonyp142 respectively.

@destinycod was not to be denied though & later won the Quickdraw.

As noted earlier, the new PLO event narrowly missed guarantee, but it was played in great spirit, it was a pleasure to watch the table chat. @235467 took the win, he had an early lead, yielded it briefly to @Jessieak then surged well clear 3-handed. @DinoFerarr ended up 2nd with @Jessieak 3rd.

That'll have to do for today, but before I go, happy 70th birthday to @kidgirlgy who still holds the record for the biggest cash by a Sky Poker qualifier in Vegas, $36,000 if I recall correctly. Have a great day Sue."

It's Saturday & I have things to do, poker to play, so just a quick run-through today. The Overlay report gets me off to a nice quick start as there was none.

There was an exciting climax to the £6k Avenger Main which made over £8,000 with @bigfatfish getting the top podium step ahead of @NChanning & @StayOrGo. Fat Fish Bloke also ran 5th in Quickdraw. It's his third Avenger Main win, he's also won two Sunday Majors & countless regular Mains. @NChanning (2nd) was also 2nd in Turbo, he seems to hit the woodwork more frequently than Kai Havertz. @StayOrGo went on to win Quickdraw so the 3 of them all had decent evenings.

The Mini was almost as tough, & it was @elvisg1972 who was last to leave the building. @Super_Oli & @GSmith13 both made the Final too.

BWBH had a simply ridiculously tough FT with @style2737 eventually getting the nod ahead of @ego_death who strikes me as a bit of a dark horse. 3rd to 6th respectively were @Natnug @Sharki0 @loololollo & @Super_Oli. If you happen to find yourself on a table with that crew you are almost certainly the mark.

The £800 BH went to the splendidly-named @Voltigeur. Military historians will know that the Voltigeurs were a crack French Military unit, horse racing fans will know it thanks to the Great Voltigeur Stakes which is staged annually at York as a Group 2 affair.

Another dark horse seems to be @smith1408 who won 7 @ 7, making it 4 Headline MTT wins this year already - Predator Main, MidEx, £800 BH & now 7 @ 7. Also won a seat to the Major in the nightly Freeroll.

Exactly a week after winning Avenger Main, our man @Shrimpy28 was back in the Winner's Circle, Rebuy BH this time, and later in the evening 6th in Quickdraw. Not so much a dark horse as a big horse.

@Anna1234 is a relative newbie here, maybe 6 months & mainly plays DYM's and they featured regularly in the Streak Week Promotions. Seems decent at MTT's though too & took Mega having run 6th in it two nights earlier.

@raytei01 is mainly a cash game player, 95% of their play is at cash tables but generally does OK in Reload & got the win last night.

Stunning scenes in MidEx. Having signed up just minutes earlier, @darndale played their first & only MTT on Sky Poker in MidEx - & won it. P1, W1. Things can only go downhill from here, but great start @darndale & welcome aboard.
