I have spoken this afternoon to someone in the support team as I have not been able to access Sky Poker for six days. I showed the agent the screen I have been presented with constantly since last weekend and I have been told the following -

As one of the first customers to move over to our new site/app you will be part of a small group of customers to test this. All customers will be moving over to this site during the year and we are aiming to make this better than the previous site/app.

This is news to me and I have not been made aware of this at all, and I am more than a little disappointed about the lack of communication. I asked about the timeframe of this and was not given any clear indication, only that it 'should not be too long'.

So basically, I have been told to just keep trying and at some point in the future I will be able to play poker again. :s

Is there anyone else who knows anything about this?

    It's an open secret.

I didn't know there would be a group of people testing it though. Enjoy the 3hr late reg and say hi to Dmitry.

Well that is all well and good, but I currently have no access and haven't been told when I will. It's just kind of a... keep trying and one day it will work.

    How's the testing going @Slipwater ?

I am also available for testing if you give me free tokens to play twister.

There is no 'testing'. I'm simply locked out.

I'm not techy at all, and fortunately have never had any real problems playing on Chrome thru' the Browser on my desktop, but just as an idea to try.....

......Can 'Mrs' Slipwater open a brand new account ??

.....maybe on a different device or thru' a different Browser and see what happens :*

    Good Luck :)

I believe that would be against terms and conditions regarding multi accounting. I would strongly recommend against such practices unless sky staff specifically have said in writing that this is ok to do.

They must have chosen you for a reason Slippy - I think they were impressed with the way you gathered and presented the results for the main/mini leaderboards. So you should take it as a compliment, although I appreciate that it is frustrating to be locked out of sky at the moment.

There's nothing wrong with two people in the same household having seperate accounts on different devices David @Doubleme

There are several couples on the site who play regularly ..... and I'm sure a few Students in the same building play too. :)

:D ...I admire the 'glass half full' attitude, but think it's more likely just random... not that my being chosen means anything. The only thing I have access to is this forum.
