I'm not 1 of these people who bandy about words like "snowflake" or "woke".
But, in our rush to read salacious gossip about celebs being no less perfect than the rest of us, might I suggest this.
There is a World of difference between men who say inappropriate things, or make inappropriate jokes. And people who do inappropriate things. And molest people.
I'm not defending the first group. I just think we need to get some perspective. Greg Wallace and Gino are not Jimmy Saville or Harvey Weinstein
These things are always problematic. And I am always suspicious of the motives of people who don't say anything at the time, but have no problem airing it publicly in the Media years later. Which isn't to say some are not perfectly genuine.
But let's look at Gino's whole style. His schtick is to say slightly saucy things. And often they are part of the programme. Take Family Fortunes, as an example. He often says slightly risque things-it is part of his act. If someone can't take that sort of thing, might I suggest that the answer might be not to go on Family Fortunes?
I love watching live comedy. But there is a reason I don't ever sit in the front row...
Banter , i have loads of banter with close friends and family but one persons banter is another persons insult .
Completely agree.
But what if what you genuinely thought was banter was being stored up for years, and then made into a public complaint by a work colleague. Feel that is entirely your fault?
That's an awkward situation but for me you have to choose what you say , especially to work colleagues very carefully , it's a trust thing and it takes a lot of time , for me anyway to trust anyone

Again, completely agree.
It is a trust thing. And it does take a lot of time. I say that with all the knowledge of having attended a lot of disciplinary hearings on such things, for employers and employees.
But this appears to have built up over a long time. No-one has apparently approached him about it. No-one has apparently raised a grievance at the employers. It has just some out in the Press now, and apparently by a group of people at the same time. In a way that says-orchestrated by Solicitors
If you were scared about the career repercussions of privately raising it with your employer, would you not be more scared about going public with this sort of thing?
Jermaine Jenas admits to the past terrible inappropriate mistakes of his as he gets set for return to broadcasting.
The 41 year old has issued an apology for his behaviour in an interview this week as he makes gets set to appear on talkSPORT.
Following his dismissal from the BBC due to allegations of inappropriate conduct involving explicit messages sent to female colleagues, Jenas has expressed regret and a commitment to personal improvement.
His return to talkSPORT has been controversial, with some staff reportedly refusing to work with him due to the previous scandal.
However, Jenas states intentions to come back as a “better person” and has apologised publicly, including to those directly affected by his actions.
This situation has sparked discussions about redemption and the impact of personal conduct on professional opportunities.

It's the profession you're in i suppose , higher profile jobs or jobs in the spotlight it would affect On site stuff like this is rife , i've called people out for being racist for example , they are just uneducated but what gets me if i reported them it would probably fall on deaf ears because managers and such are just as bad and they are supposed to be more educated
