Who won what, Thursday 30th January. Curmudgeonly veteran wins yet another Main

"Just the usual brief Saturday run-through today, as Everton v Arsenal awaits at 12.30 & I don't suppose they will delay kick off because I'm still working.
Starting with the BWBH, & young @SwannLol emerged on top. Despite low volume & high ABI he has a most impressive CV already, which includes winning 5 UKOPS, 3 BWBH's, 2 Summits, a £6k & £5k BH's, a Mini Major & a Main or two. The only omission seems to be a Sunday Major. Come on Swanny, sort yourself out.
In the Avenger Main @peiratis88 returned after being mostly AWOL for a few weeks & took the win. A fine effort to finish 3rd by @ILIKE2FISH resulted in his best cash of 2023, & in 7th was @kawamattyz who labours under the illusion that he's always unlucky.
@GrymR won the Mini, his 2nd Mini win in 2 weeks, & perhaps the first player 2 win two Minis in 2023?
There was a fun 7 @ 7 which went to @neets1 & gave him his first ever headline MTT victory. Runner-up was @waller02 who was also 5th in the Rebuy BH, which will have been fun as he was streaming. I don't watch poker streams but if I were to, I'd certainly watch his as he's an annoyingly likeable sort. There was an unusual double for @Enut who finished 4th in this as well as 4th in the 19.18 PLO8, especially as mixing NLH & PLO8 is not at all easy. An odd mix really, as NLH is all brawn & muscle which does not require much thought whereas PLO8 is much more complex, requires intelligence & skill, & is generally played by a better class of chap (or lady) who can string whole sentences together & take their beats like grown-ups.
@bakersdoze who won Thursday's MidEx is running into form & was 2nd in both Mega & Reload. Winner of the Mega was the rapidly improving @do67, and Reload went to @djsppiros with @bbMike in 4th.
A big 9 @ 9 went to @XS2012 for his best cash since he was 3rd in a 2017 Sunday Major won by @chicknMelt.
Team Big Boy asserted their presence later in the evening with @ozzieowen @Natnug & @loololollo winning Turbo, Quickdraw & MidEx respectively.
Finally, @Snowski won the 19.18 PLO8 for the 2nd straight night, well done Shaun"

Overlay amounted to £373 spread across 3 MTT's, with the bulk if that being in Mini & Turbo.
The Main went to His Welshness @HAYSIE and it was his best result since running 2nd in an Xmas UKOPS Main this time last month for some £2,000. He gets more than his share of stick but very few players have done as well as he has at MTT's, including 1st place in the Major around a dozen times, several UKOPS trophies, and more weeknight Mains than I dare to count. Best result was close to £10,000 in a big UKOPS, he's also had 1 win over £6,000, 3 wins over £4,000, & 8 wins over £3,000. One of the Majors he won was during boomlet & had 219 runners, might just have been the biggest prize Pool in a Sunday Major ever, or nearly so, & Tony took home almost £7,000. And yet Team Serious criticise him for his bet sizing. These days if you open anything except 2.2X (or whatever the fashion is this week) you are an idiot. Apparently. Poker players, don't you just love 'em? Runner-up @Blaiseee is not too dusty either, best result being 2nd in a "£50,000 Super Weekend" jobbie which was worth close to £7,000. Wins include Summit, BWBH, & Avenger Main although strangely has yet to bink a Sunday Major.
These days @MITCH38 almost only plays the Mini & Rewards Freeroll, does just fine in both, & booked 1st place in last night's Mini. As recently as November he made the FT of Gold Rush Main too. Good efforts last night in the Mini by @bbMike & @Angela124 too, finishing 3rd & 4th respectively. @Angela124 also ran 4th in 7 @ 7.
@wallnutts who probably wears a shell-suit whilst playing, & despite entering just 5 MTT's so far in 2025 won last night's Sherriff from the usual very strong FT, although by way of a change it did not include @NChanning
The £800 BH went to @johnnyy for the 2nd time this month.
It's been a little uphill for @mickeys recently, but his form is returning, & after a deep run in 7 @ 7 two nights earlier, won last night's renewal.
Rebuy BH went to @fl4n this coming just over a week since running 2nd in Reload.
What a splendid month @Drewett has had, won Quickdraw last night & January's highlights now include 1st place in two Quickdraws, Summit, Predator Main, Sheriff, Turbo & Rebuy BH. That's 7 headline MTT's. Has anyone done better than that this month?
@needham123 was due a change of luck & so it proved as he sauntered to 1st place in Mega. Only other significant result I can find is 3rd in an £800 BH last July.
Despite - or because - of it's low buy-in Reload takes a bit of winning, so hats off to @Mikeycb who won it for the 2nd time in a fortnight.
