"A typical Monday, with some late night overlay, most of it in the £1,000 Turbo which missed by an eye-watering £340 thanks in part to it getting just one Rebuy.

@BillyPckle has been here 3 months to the day & played just 110 MTT's but is starting to raise eyebrows. He took last night's Main & was 2nd in Mega, just 24 hours after running 3rd in Sunday's Major. Has also won a Turbo, & been 2nd in a BWBH. Interesting.

@coolhanal is not a fan of Bounty Hunters, as he has mentioned a few times, but he won last night's Mini, which is at least his third Mini win, all of them BH's. @Woebegone was 3rd, with @Allan23 4th.

Arguably, player of the night was Dour Bloke @PKRPar who won both Quickdraw & MidEx, & it was the 2nd straight night he's won Quickdraw. His 2023 CV already includes wins in Quickdraw (thrice), MidEx (twice), Mini Major, Sheriff, Turbo, Mega, Reload & 9 @9. The featured MTT Bingo Card is almost complete, & it's only early February. Doubt anyone else can match that variety of 2023 wins.

Reigning SPT Champ @chrisdonkb took the Mega, with @chkngeorge getting the win in 9 @ 9.

@Joeltb1990 is coming up to 10 years on the site & some 1,200 MTT's & gets his first thread namecheck today after winning the Rebuy BH from the likes of @Jessieak @waller02 & @bbMike."

MTT traffic was "so so", though everything covered with the sole exception of Quickdraw which goes on the Naughty Step after a £100 miss.

There was something of a faux pas over the weekend with the Prem Leaderboards, so there was a bit of grumbling. I mean it shouldn't happen, I get that, but, you know, in the greater scheme of things it's hardly a disaster. Some poker folks - a minority, I'd say - take themselves very seriously & are not the most forgiving or understanding. I suppose it's similar in all walks of life, there's always a Team Chunter & a Team Chill. Life's rich balance & all that. Anyway, apologies from Sky Poker, of course.

@Drewett has got 2025 off to an absolute flyer, & took the £110 entry Sunday Major, his 2nd £110 entry win in 10 days. Already in 2025 he's won a Major, a Summit, a Predator Main, 2 Quickdraws, a Sheriff & a Turbo, as well as running 3rd in last Friday's BWBH. That's quite the start. And where does that place him on the 2025 Sky Poker Sharky MTT Leaderboard? I'd have guess top 3, but in fact he's currently 7th. He took a month long break from Sky Poker in December & it appears to have worked out well. Have to feel a modicum of sympathy for @purpleaki who a week earlier ran 4th in the Major, & last night was 2nd. He's probably a shade disappointed, but those are solid scores, especially as he usually gets in via the satellite route. In some ways the outstanding performance was by @jas69 who won the seat in Wednesday's Sunday Major Freeroll & went on to finish 3rd last night & take home £1,180. Not a regular in the Major or at those stakes, so that was a terrific effort.

In the Mini Major, top spot went to the buff & trim @roddy28 who we have seen in Vegas regularly, & I somehow get the impression he may be a Scot. Just a feeling, you know.

The £5,000 BH went to @Hod4k997 who was pursued by very much the Usual Suspects, though perhaps the best result was @hhammerhea who crushes lower stakes (average stake around £5.19) but only rarely ventures into £33ers. He'd probably do quite well at most stakes tbh.

@destinycod had his serious head on last night & took both Turbo & Quickdraw for a smashing win double. We'll no doubt see him at SPT Brighton next month I'm pleased to say. Hopefully not on my table, he's huge fun to watch but really not much fun to play against.

2025 has started really well for @suitnboot with 9 FT's & he made it 10 last night by winning the £800 BH. Had a deep run (14th) in last night's Major too having won his seat in Tuesday's Freeroll.

7 @ 7 fell to @THETANK & later he ran 6th in it's big sister, the 9 @ 9. Been here 16 years & I doubt he's had a losing year in all that time.

@NoProHere_ won the Rebuy BH for the 7th time, CV also includes wins in UKOPS & a Mini Avenger. Not sure what the alias refers to but I'm sure it has some significance.

@MikeyMikey has played just 7 MTT's since September - 6 of them this year - & bounced back to form with a fine 1st place in Mega. Tends to come & go, but been here a very long time & his best score was 1st place in a £1,500 BH all the way back in 2012.

9 @ 9 was taken by @cleo99 & I suspect that's a PB, although the majority of their action is in the DYM's.

@Bensons22 won the Reload, & he has a decent CV which includes winning a Predator Main in 2023.

@Eon1961 aka The Ilkeston PLO8 Beast took MidEx & in fact he had a terrific session, winning MidEx, the 19.18 PLO8 & a £200 BH, plus 3rd in a £400 BH. Very decent player considering his age. And his height.

That's about it for today. Apologies those Prem Leaderboards never quite surfaced over the weekend, but they'll be back today & I'll be very surprised if they miss again, as the problem was a "set-up" thing & now it's sorted they'll be like a Volkswagen.
