"As usual on a Saturday, bit of a truncated write up today.
Traffic was pleasantly brisk, with Avenger Main falling just one entry short of £9,000.
@FeelGroggy took home 1st place money, what a player he is, a top bloke too, no side to him. He rarely misses an SPT so fingers crossed we'll see him at Brighton in 3 weeks time. It's been a fortnight since we saw @Limp2Loseon the MTT streets but he soon found his feet, 2nd in the Main, 2nd in Turbo & 6th in Quickdraw.
The mysterious @mysteryreg took the Mini. Does very well indeed, Sharky give him a 41% ROI over a 2,500 game sample. He keeps it real with his stakes, sticking to where he does best, & this was his third win in a Mini having already notched up wins in Hitman & Predator Minis. Fairly sure last night was his biggest score yet. @chrisdonkb was 2nd, & he was 6th in the Main, so picks up a few bob from the FTJ. When I had a look round the tables at around 11pmn last night he was chip leader in both Main & Mini, so it looks like Sky Poker dodged a £5,000 bullet there. He's another we can expect to see at SPT Brighton.
@who_mehas been MIA for a few weeks but returned to take down 9 @ 9.
Two seats were won for SPT Brighton, the first by @JMARLEY35 who was playing his first ever MTT's on Sky Poker. Even better, his first game was a £6 SPT Micro which he won & he then went onto win his Brighton seat. The second seat went to @drarry12who had not played an MTT here since trying to qualify for SPT Brighton last March. With 14 runners, there was £200 in cash for third, which went to @madprof, so I'm sure we'll see him there too.
That's it for today. Don't forget tonight sees another SPT Brighton Semi Final, as well as that new £400 Guaranteed PLO."
Despite the 2nd League Cup semi-Final live on TV numbers were not too bad, just £117 of overlay, presumably thanks to nobody being interested in watching a very poor & drab 'Spurs side predictably get yet another thrashing. Asked for his reaction, 'Spurs Manager Ange Postecoglou replied "It's just who we are mate".
@Nero543 won the Main, with @NChanning in 5th. By some sort of bizarre circumstance, the last time @Nero543 won a Main (last September) @NChanning made the FT too, 2nd on that occasion, & in fact he was bidding to win it two weeks running that time. 2nd last night was @nslater112with @Mumbledore 3rd & @4kingboss 4th.
@Fabraclass took the Mini, with @4kingboss 4th, so that's £200 of FTJ cash for Mr Boss as he was 4th in both Main & Mini.
There was a double-double last night, with @Makaka winning Turbo & MidEx, whilst @Natnug took Sheriff & Quickdraw. Notably, in Sheriff, @NChanning was 6th for a zero return, which almost seems to be his default Sheriff finishing position these days. He was 5th in the Main though so emerged from the session with a nice bit of profit in his wallet which probably was already full to bursting with money he'd won from his local bookies & no doubt will be even more rammed after this Sunday's Super Bowl.
There was another double of sorts last night too when @platinum4 pulled off the rare (unique?) feat of winning the Rebuy BH on successive evenings. Well done Platters, that's some achievement.
@Frankson8won his 2nd featured MTT, the £800 BH this time, having won a 9 @ 9 in December. Best cash to date has been ~£450 for 3rd in a Sharpshooter Main last month. Currently sits 1st in the Sky Poker Sharky 2025 "Count" Leaderboard & 25th in the 2025 "Profit" Leaderboard.
@bigeaz001 made the FT of 7 @ 7 three times in a week last month without managing the win but he got there last night. Won a Rebuy BH in December too.
Mega & 9 @ 9 both went to well-deserving foot-soldiers. @graceliam has played exactly 6 MTT's this year, all of them the £22 entry 20.45 Mega, & persistence was rewarded with 1st place last night. More often than not, @mookiestar plays the 9 @ 9 & was 5th a week ago, then improved to 1st last night. Well done to both @graceliam & @mookiestar
That's it for now. Man U v Leicester City on TV tonight. That's a bit like one of those Selling Plates at Southwell or Lingfield where you scan the runners & riders & eventually decide that none of them stand a chance of winning.

No surprises in the BWBH with @GSmith13 taking the win, & the usual suspects on the FT, including @AlexaAJ @FeelGroggy & @SoLack.
@spanner101 loosened up enough to take the £1k BH, while @Raptor555 swooped to take the Rebuy version ahead of @claudel9 & @bigfatfish.
